Dodging tough issues with senseless and false accusations?
You have hit rock bottom....

Your core beliefs are not hidden and evident to all. You make it apparent that you simply do not believe in the Christ of the Bible.
Given that your core, foundational, belief is rotten and corrupt from bottom to top, then everything that comes out of it will be likewise

You are failing to anchor to the context behind the reason for Jeremiah's words in Jeremiah 4....

If you would rather speculate?
Be my guest.

am i?

is there no idolatry or spiritual harlotry in the world today?

Right, that's why it says those who learn of the father come to Christ. The only way they can learn of the father is through the spirit. So that right there tells us that unregenerate people do hear and learn from God.

Obedience to God's words is what saves people.

Wow! What a humanistic Gospel! And here for all these years I thought it was God who saved people.

I did not say Genesis 1 and 2 were two different creations.
You are consistently reading me wrong...

you said two creations:

between Genesis 1:27 (creation of only the soul), and Genesis 2 where the body was provided for that soul.

body and soul.

but the Bible says one:

Genesis 1:27
So God created man in His [own] image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Genesis 2:7
And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
became a soul when He breathed the breath of Life into the body - after His image

Genesis 2 speaks of exactly the same events of Genesis 1 only with a different focus and according detail. it's not two separate events.

note:

Genesis 5:2
He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created.
Genesis 5 is not a separate creation event either, and it says in the day, not in the days.

But it requires a walk of faith to inherit that .

Apparently you didn't read Gen 3:15. Where was Eve's faith in this passage!? Eve's faith, expressed as acknowledgement of the Lord is first expressed after she gave birth to Cain.

Also, where was the "walk of faith" by the ancient Hebrews in Egypt (the vast majority of whom were steeped in idolatry as much as their Egyptian oppressors) that earned them the inheritance of God's redemption from the land of slavery?

I have no idea what you're talking about in regards to Eve, but concerning the unbelievers in Israel, they were destroyed

I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. Jude 1:5

When is a gift not a gift?
When it is not "received".

So you became a living, breathing physical entity when you entered this world because you consciously received the gift of life? I suppose you also gave God your permission to create you, right?

Another verse for you to stumble over

Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. 1 Timothy 4:16

IOW, you have no idea what is going on in Gen 3:15? You don't see a sovereign divine decree being issued to the serpent on behalf of Eve?

The Jude passage does not teach that God destroyed all the Hebrews -- only unbelievers did he destroy.

Furthermore, the Exodus out of Egypt precedes the Hebrews' wilderness sojourn and occupation of the Land. The Exodus was just the first leg in the process of salvation, and God rescued the Hebrews from Egypt not because they were believers, but rather in spite of their idolatrous hearts!

Who hears? Not everyone. Why does this keep having to be repeated?
Oh, it looks like something you stumble over.

It's about time someone defined you.

You are so abundantly SELF RIGHTEOUS.

You're not alone.

...

In Genesis 1:27? God created the man "out from nothing." = the soul.
In Genesi 2, God was not creating man out from nothing, but molded and formed (jatsar) from the earth a body for that soul.

interesting you would argue a soul-only mankind was created before flesh, since you are also arguing that a soulless flesh-only zombie race was created aeons before God ever created a soul.

all of Genesis 1 is physical creation except for 1 thing, man? heh.
yes, quite interesting!

i guess your guy puts his own twist on historical pre-adamite heresy, which makes sense. everyone loves gnosis

Oh, it looks like something you stumble over.

No. Not really to stumble.

I am still trying to figure out why the Spirit led me here.

And, I keep telling myself...
Jesus was led of the Spirit into having a rendezvous with Satan to tempt him.

This is a learning experience for me.

My "core beliefs" include the intended purpose and intrinsic meaning of the ritual of BAPTISM.

And yours....?

@Genez

or is your position that only the souls of the birds and beasts and other animals were created in Genesis 1? there is no physical world at all until Genesis 2?

You need to get a good study on Jeremiah.
You have no idea how bad it was in his day.
They do not call him the "Weeping Prophet" for no reason.

You will not get it reading translations and typical commentaries.
The ones who printed them were usually too prudish.

ORDERING INFORMATION

Ask for "Jeremiah" - Series 540.

No money will be asked for.

Stop spinning.
You are going to even make me dizzy with how you must avoid seeing what was said..

Mine is solely Jesus Christ and Him crucified. That you glorify the works of man over God's is evident so no surprise there.
Anyway, discussions with you have proven fruitless and a waste of time so henceforth you'll be joining your compatriot @Genez on my ignore list.
