Yeah, figured you'd say that even though I presented verses (hmmm -my man-made reasoning?) that confirmed that. Okay,
fine with me, I've satisfied my responsibility - it's easier for me this way
I used Biblical Verses that plainly states without me trying to make them mean something else but you of course did your best to ignore the truth so your personal doctrine can be truth over true Biblical facts.

Right, but the natural man is always hostile in his mind towards God. So how is it that some don't act in accordance with the natural man's propensity when the gospel is preached? Why are some under conviction while others are not? What happened that caused some to be placed under conviction and respond in obedience? Who put them under conviction?
Because some hate it and others believe in it.

I guess that means you didn't understand my post or the verses included in it. That's okay, no need to keep going.

So what therefore are we to say about the "Reformed Tradition" crew?

God sends wise men and scribes, filled with knowledge and sincerity.....
Reaction: mocked, dismissed, kicked to the curb.

God floods the debate arena with the Light of Biblical Truth......
Reaction: a disappearing act, radio silence, scurrying to dark corners and crevasses and under rocks.

Somebody tell me I'm wrong....

You're horribly wrong...unless by wise men and scribes you are referring to Roger, Rufus, BillyBob, and Magenta.

Know what you mean. I make coffee in the bedroom, and it becomes flooded with the smell of coffee. First cup is always the best
one. They should make a first cup coffee perfume.

The Lord is good, great in fact

The marvelous ways in which he has us creating aromas these days are truly amazing.

He's works wonders

I've just had some amazing news today, which no one expected, I've just received notice that I've just had 60.000 pound of debt wrote of, such a relief to be debt free.

5 years of struggles is no more, and it was dew to go on for 4 more years,

I said a silent prayer a d asked if he could work his wonders,

We then Set a plan in place and to my astonishment 17 different creditors have agreed.

That's truly a miracle sir.

All natural men hate it. What does this tell you about those who don't? What accounts for the difference
The natural man hates God. They blaspheme in matters they do not understand, and like such
creatures, they too will be destroyed. The harm they will suffer is the wages of their wickedness.

Indeed, and very glad to hear of your success. God definitely does answer prayers - sometimes in ways that are truly astonishing
so there is no doubt that they were caused by Him.

Of course. I'm just seeing if others can make the same logical conclusion, and adjust their thinking.

Those are most certainly those who fled into the dark crevasses and brutalized the messengers of truth.

They would not dare expose themselves to certain abysmal failure by engaging in the "predestined" debate. Nor did you.

Nor did they address the Acts 13:48 debate (crafted so beautifully by @studier ) in any meaningful way.

BTW, your wit and charm never fail to disappoint.....

Why you so upset? You asked for someone to tell you that you were wrong and I obliged. Please don't hesitate to ask again, as I promise not to become weary in well-doing.

Romans 8 verse 28 ~ We know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.

Yes, I understand, but generally speaking of these heretics, they do need lots of help admitting the truth of Scripture, and it is
also often the case that putting verses right in front of their faces garners no admission of acknowledgement of what is written.

In fact some have a long lists of rationalizations concocted to reject the truth of Scripture.

Really? You're not a Libertinist? If not, then explain what exactly is the efficacious spiritual/moral mechanism that ultimately determines whether one is a believer or non-believer, if it's not "freewill" or it's not God's will.

Not determinism, but responsive, accountable, volitional faith in Christ — brought about by God's power of the gospel, the Spirit’s conviction, and God working with and through His fellow-workers.

Yes, with a person who can receive the spiritual things of God.

Not with a person who cannot. There is a difference.

John14-17a-Romans8-6-9.png

John 14 v 17a, Romans 8 v 6-9 ~ “Inability” in Bible. The world cannot receive the Spirit of truth. The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. Praise be to God for calling me out of the world.

We'll see how @lrs68 responds.

Flesh serves the law of sin. For the flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are opposed to each other. Nothing good lives in my flesh. Who can say, “I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin”? Who can bring what is pure from the impure? No one! The flesh brings forth fruit unto death. Romans 7 v 25, Galatians 5 v 17, Romans 7 v 18, Proverbs 20 v 9, Job 14 v 4, Romans 7 v 5 (Romans 8 v 13 and James 1 v 15)

There is no such thing as reformed Tradition.
