I perceived it as implied within your inquiry, assuming that you had already looked into some preliminary research and concluded that there was none found.

well, that's not true, there is something found in favour of your opinion, but the scholars claiming that is a small minority of the scholar society.

The overwhelming majority of scholars say that we do not know who wrote the gospels. Let me take an example:
The gospel of John was written around year 90-95. In near perfect greek language. So, if anyone claims it was written by the apostle John who followed Jesus, how probable is that?

What does it mean ?
God doesn't offer proof of His existence in the Bible. He merely declares what is true of Himself and a host of other things. One of the things He has declared is that mankind knows of His existence through creation. Another way we know is that God has placed eternity in our hearts. So you know deep down that God exists. What you do with that information is up to you.

Don't worry, we will get to why that faulty KJV translation is there ASAP.
Why? I almost never quote it. I certainly did not there. Guess again. Hit and miss.

Though I may miss your next miss. I rarely look at what you have to say. For obvious reasons.

Do you admit that there is a difference between "mocking" and posing serious quiestions ?
You do not so much come across as serious. Just sayin'.

More like trying to look smart and impress people being cutesy but flippant and also playing dumb.

I cannot say it works for me.

Here you come with claims about me that is simply not true!

I do not know that God exists, even if I search "deep down". So why are you pretending you know me better than I know myself ?

We believe what the Bible says. You are without excuse, oh man.

The Bible you say was written by bearded men. Oh? Bearded? I did not know that.

I'm not an expert on biblical history but, given that John lived within the timeframe of Roman occupancy, which a quick inquiry shows so was Greece likewise, which would likely compose a culture as an American 'melting pot' like environment, it isn't in any degree improbable.

Because I know what the word of God says. God knows you better than you know you. He made you.

This way of having a discussion that you run here is leading no way. It's more like a personal attack on me as a person, without you posting serious arguments based on case and topics.

Luckily, I know a lot of christians who don't fall into this trap of attacking a person and not that person's arguments. But the way you run things here....

I cannot say it works for me.

I do not run things here. Oh, I get it, you make personal comments about me and it is a-ok for you to do that in your books
but when I make personal comments by way of expressing my opinion about you I am attacking you. Yeah. Hypocrisy. I get it.
You suffer from the human condition. Are you really seeking or just here to stir the proverbial pot?

I don't see serious questions from you. Just game playing.

Sure, it has to do with deterministic beliefs, which are Calvinistic, which are Reformed, which you've acknowledged you are. And yes, you believe the things you acknowledged, and based on this, yes you claimed the same nonsense about non-Reformed beliefs that your Reformed and admittedly Calvinistic friends here claim constantly. You try to claim honesty by trying to shroud yourself in some self-perceived sense of mystery or uniqueness, but your beliefs are Reformed which are not at all mysterious and very easy to identify.
Well.....he does actually have some novel ideas. Like that "faith generator" thing. First I've heard of some kind of an home appliance that generates faith. Whether it be wired for 120 or 240 I cannot say.

I'm not saying that these ideas are biblically sound though don't get me wrong.

Because I know what the word of God says.

That's the difference between us Cameron. You view the Bible as the word of God, I don't. I view it as the word of fallable bearded men written 2-3000 years ago. As much fallable and imperfect as you and me are.

Since you claim things about me, I feel free to claim things about you:

You are the result of some 3 500 000 000 years of evolution through natural selection. You are related to chimpanees and apes. Not only that. You are related to mice, fish, trees, flowers and all living matter - just because of this evolution of life. And if it is any comfort to you - exactly the same is true for me and all other humans reading this. We are all a product of evolution and related to all life on earth. And that is why we should have respect for life in all forms, protecting the environment and climate.

I have no other comment to you Magenta. Because I have already described what I think of your way of "debating".
