QUOTE="lrs68, post: 5567324, member: 337229"]That is interesting to think I serve a God that requires Faith in Himself to be God.
So much for being All Everything and Sovereign.
Wrong. Christ faith wasn't in Himself - that type of faith is solely between a man and God, which faith is given to the elect as a gift from God. Christ, on the other hand, was faithful as Son and Savior in His allegiance to the Father, in that He perfectly and faithfully satisfied and completed the will of the Father, by which, and only by which, was salvation brought to fruition. It's kind of amazing that for all you post, you actually know/understand so little about Christ in His role as Savior and Son. This is pretty basic stuff.
[Heb 3:5-6 KJV]
5 And Moses verily [was] faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
[Jhn 4:34 KJV] 34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
[Jhn 6:38 KJV] 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
