He chose to appoint Judas as a disciple even knowing that he did not and would not believe, yes?

Judas was chosen for service he failed.
All are welcome to believe in Christ Jesus and receive the gift of salvation but some do not believe in Christ Jesus for salvation.

It's difficult for you to explain how what I said is wrong because there is no scriptural basis for what you think is right. I have basically said verbatim what scripture says.

Are you saying that people merely have to realize that they have already been saved? That they are already perfected spiritual beings who have no need for faith?

Didn't you say that Christ fulfilled God's requirements?

Judas-Satan was "put on display" to the angelic realm to prove something......
This is a partial reason for his inclusion.

[Jhn 13:26 KJV]
Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped [it]. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave [it] to Judas Iscariot, [the son] of Simon.

[Jhn 13:27 KJV]
And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

[Jhn 13:30 KJV]
He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.

Yes I see this too.

I just find those in the "reformed" school continually make a category error when interpreting scripture, they lump call to service ( election) with individual personal salvation.

Already properly exegeted many times on this thread.

IN HIM is key, I notice you did not highlight that.

As I said in post 17518

Are you saying that people merely have to realize that they have already been saved? That they are already perfected spiritual beings who have no need for faith?

they are given faith/belief as a result OF salvation, not TO become saved. They will come to faith in Christ as Savior from having become saved

Well.....IMO they are doctrinally a shipwreck.
Wrong-headed about pretty much everything.
They propound vague nonsensical notions undergirded with bizarre philosophy and brand it "truth".

You blow that passage every-single-time.
Every time. Because you do not understand it. Its amazing and tragic.

You obviously didn't read the verse I included. If you had, the "in him" wouldn't have needed to be highlighted - the verse explained
it.

And I've exegeted this many times and shows what "in Him" represents and how it occurs. But here they are again. please try to read and understand them:

[1Co 1:30 KJV] 30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

[2Co 1:20 KJV] 20 For all the promises of God in him [are] yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

[Eph 1:4 KJV] 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

So you're saying that people are saved before they believe?
He does until he denies it when confronted with the facts. Then he reasserts a couple of pages later after memory fades.
An endless doom-loop of crazy.

Thats how the determinists roll man.

Oh yes, very much agree, a shipwreck and so very dangerous in so many ways.

1) Changes the nature of God
2) Changes the ordro salutis
3) Changes the nature of fallen man
4) Changes the atonement on the cross to limited
5) Changes God from good to the author of evil so that even when a young girl is raped, tortured and murdered she received her judgement!!!
