Interesting that you don't notice the without part![]()
According to you because you refuse to believe anything different. I'm not talking about faith. Faith and regeneration occur simultaneously. I'm talking about believing the truth of God when it is presented. One must accept what God says is true (believe) before one is made alive and that word that is believed becomes one's faith. We do not generate faith from within ourselves, faith comes form the word.
If regeneration was to precede one believing the truth then God would call people to be born of the Lord, not believe on the Lord.
still interesting you ignore the without faith partIt says without faith it is impossible to please God. Then it says one must believe 3 things before they get to the faith that pleases.
1. God exists.
2. God is good.
3. God is merciful.
Anyone who does not believe those three things about God will never reach the faith that pleases God.
You must believe before you come and have faith. Faith is a gift. It is not given to those who do not believe.
Interesting you don't understand this.
And the Son chose to reveal the Father to the Romans 1 type but they chose to reject Him. Go figure.![]()
All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him. Matthew 11 v 27

To those who believe. No power for those who don't.Which is grace which is what we have said from the start. Grace always precedes man knowing anything or doing anything. Grace is God's power to see His will done according to His nature and character. Man receives it or rejects it and supplants it with a lie.
Acts 17:28
for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’

No hearing, no teaching in natural revelation. That has nothing to do with it, not building a Church here just showing God exists, it's not even personal at this stage (eternal power and Divine nature). The natural revelation is still said to be shown by God and you refuse to believe it.
If the humanity of Christ, who was without sin, had to rely upon the Father for all He did and said, then being a sinner isn't the only reason one must fully trust in God.
Actually that is precisely what Jesus did tell Nicodemus. Unless you're born from above you cannot see (understand) the kingdom of God. How can one exercise genuine faith in any object they can't understand? Birth and Faith occur simultaneously.

Unbelief is the state of not believing, often meaning a lack of faith, skepticism, or outright rejection of known truth, especially concerning religious or divine matters, involving a spiritual condition of distrust or refusal to accept God's promises and revelation, rather than just intellectual doubt. It's often seen as a willful turning away from known truth, stemming from a heart issue, disobedience, or a preference for one's own way.
Key Aspects of Unbelief:
- Rejection of Truth: It's not just not knowing; it's knowing or witnessing something (like God's power or love) and actively refusing to accept or act upon it.
- Spiritual Condition: It's described as a state of the heart and spirit, affecting one's relationship with God, not just a matter of the head.
- Infidelity/Disobedience: In religious contexts, it's synonymous with infidelity, a turning away from God, and disobedience to His commands, leading to a darkened understanding.
- Root of Sin: Many traditions view unbelief as the root of other sins, stemming from a distrust in God's goodness, as seen in the biblical story of Adam and Eve.
- Not Just Disbelief: While similar, some differentiate unbelief from simple disbelief (not believing something exists) by defining unbelief as the rejection of something known to be true.
In simple terms:

- Webster's Dictionary: Incredulity, infidelity, or weak faith.
- Biblical View: A hardened heart that rejects God's known truth and promises, leading to a spiritual bondage.
- Modern Definition: A lack of belief or skepticism, particularly in religious or doctrinal matters.

I did say (maybe to you can't remember now) that regeneration and faith occur simultaneously. But you confuse our believing with faith. Faith is the word working in our hearts because we believe upon it and God has decided He will only join Himself to believers. The word that produces faith only occurs within those who believe. Faith is certainty, (Heb.11:1) our believing (an act of our will) is an acceptance of the truth but has no power (in and of itself) to produce truth/reality, that requires the word of God, hence the word + belief = Faith.
So show me in the text where it says that the gift being OFFERED TO THE POTENTIAL RECIPIENTS:
-is being stuffed down their throats against their will while they shriek in protest
-is a result of first having their will lobotomized, such that they are made oblivious to the import of their decision
-is a result of force or fraud
-is taken because they were given an offer they couldn't refuse with a spear in their back
-is a result of a shotgun wedding proposal
Nonsense! Man comes into this world in bondage to his sin nature, and we have zero power to change that immutable nature.
To those who believe. No power for those who don't.
You are correct. I searched and search using you exact wording but found no verses which proclaim such nonsense!
What I do find are passages such as Matt 19:26 which tells us clearly - But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Perhaps you should learn to read, there are schools to help with that disability. . . . .
