Typical gibberish from a FWer with nothing intelligent to say!
Orightie then. Thank you for informing me, y'all keep well.in the mind of free will , It a thread called you can act out your free will to the free willer.
You've got no chance of getting through![]()
Hi guys. I hope you are good. I'm new here and I've been following this thread for a while now, is it possible for you all to debate without being rude to each other?
I love good discussions as well but brethren things shouldn't be as they are here. I wish to join the discussion if only y'all weren't this rude.
I would say that makes him the biggest determinist here, he determined himselfcv5 is what you end up with when someone believes that man is his own savior and that Christ isn't the Savior
You know what honestly predestination is not determinism
Especially from your compatriots @Rufus and @Magenta. Right?I'm sorry, no, that won't be possible, but nice try! It's no fun without the yelling, screaming, spittle coming out of the mouth in anger, and
calling into question the other's lineage. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it though (lol).

Desperate flailing in confusion and panic when plunged into deep waters of Biblical exegetical interpretation is typical of Calvinists.I would say that makes him the biggest determinist here, he determined himself
It obvious hes using Judges 15:2 and 15:3 to prove against dertermism
yep it says to those whom will believe.Predestined = "to (yet future ) obtain/fulfil a thing".
[Eph 1:11 KJV]
11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated G4309 (to obtain it) according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated (the FUTURE REALIZATION yet to be revealed!) according to the purpose of him (this INHERITANCE a part of the plan of God from eternity past!) who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
These "THINGS" are predestined for us":
***************************************************************************
God has chosen ***THESE THINGS, namely*** blamelessness, conformation to His image, justification, adoption, obtaining an inheritance and glory ***FOR those*** who WILL believe, those who WILL CHOOSE to enter the covenant.
That's the gist of προορίζω proorizó, SG4309 .
And this term NEVER, EVER pertains to anything about God choosing any individual FOR SALVATION whatsoever and certainly nothing about "pre-birth Calvinistic selection" either.
Rom 8:29
For whom he did foreknow, he G4309 also did predestinate G4309 to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Rom 8:30
Moreover whom he did predestinate, G4309 them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Eph 1:5
Having predestinated G4309 us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Eph 1:11
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated G4309 according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
******************************************************************************************************
Act 4:28
For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before G4309 to be done.
(The cross, planned from before time, but by then had already arrived at the "destination/realization").
1Co 2:7
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained G4309 before the world unto our glory:
1Co 2:8
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
(The cross, planned from before time, but by then had already arrived at the "destination/realization").

Really, this kind of thing never need happen.....if you have a mindset to actually learn the truth.
If not......then comes the cognitive dissonance, panic, rage, infantile denials and so forth.
And of course the nonsensical doubling-down of failed/false dogma.
Actually, this narrative in Judges has to with "everything". So you cannot possibly be more mistaken. A common trait of the Calvinist. And again what does this have to do with anything?
I'm not sure what your insinuating now against me.Desperate flailing in confusion and panic when plunged into deep waters of Biblical exegetical interpretation is typical of Calvinists.

I know what you meant now.Actually, this narrative in Judges has to with "everything". So you cannot possibly be more mistaken. A common trait of the Calvinist.
We free will believers are on team "everything" BTW. In terms of understanding and preaching correct Biblical doctrine.
Believing in/trusting in the Saviour is NOT equal to making oneself the saviour.
to be honest with you, if you believe the luny Calvinist theories on the internet for as long as you have without doing your proper research of what a true believer of càlvins teachings believe ie the teachers of Calvin college and the students, you'll believe anything. The soteriology/order of salvation in TULIP is wrong... this is what is stated in scripture many times in many places
Regeneration = Born Again. 1 Pet 1;23
Being born again/regenerated, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the WORD of God, which lives & abides for ever."
John 1;12
Receive Him - Given the RIGHT to BECOME Children of GOD-Born Again - to THOSE who BELIEVE in His Name
Regeneration does not precede faith, and 1 John 5:1 does not say it does.
Faith comes by hearing the word of Christ, and "dead" doesn't mean "completely unable."
Believe + Receive=Become
Roda,Hi guys. I hope you are good. I'm new here and I've been following this thread for a while now, is it possible for you all to debate without being rude to each other?
I love good discussions as well but brethren things shouldn't be as they are here. I wish to join the discussion if only y'all weren't this rude.
in my research I found that the teachers of the Calvin college are affiliated with the Christian reformed church North America who's doctrines do say those who do believe are included in God's electActually, this narrative in Judges has to with "everything". So you cannot possibly be more mistaken. A common trait of the Calvinist.
We free will believers are on team "everything" BTW. In terms of understanding and preaching correct Biblical doctrine.
Kind of you to keep me to speed, thank youRoda,
Welcome to CC and to the topic of free-will.
It seems to be a topic that divides Christians right down the middle. I personally believe that man has totally lost his ability to turn to Christ until such time as he has been enabled to do so. But others believe that man can, and in fact does, turn to God by choosing to do so [no help needed, thank you!]
Join the topic if you wish, but please know that those who do not agree with you will argue.
As they say here in Texas, “Them's fighten words partner”!
