It seems that this site has not been affected. We could make this into a conspiracy thread where the JW's is behind everything, but it is better to not go there.
An update on this topic: Yesterday I got at message from her with links to JWs official website on the topic of salvation. I haven't replied...

Living here in Spain, you would think all I would run into would be RCC, but nooo! On my morning and afternoon dog walking route, I run into a Spanish woman who is JW. It is not idfficult but it is tedious at times to converse with her, always fearingshe will bring up her special doctrines, so I keep it as best I am given to keep the subject on her health issues, sometimes mine. And so it goes. God bless you, all JWs, and everyone else.

Seems an easy issue. Be friends with anyone who can be a friend back.
If anyone brings you down in any way, move on without them. This goes for Christian and non-Christian friends alike.
Not all Christians, or claiming to be, are good people to be around. And not all unsaved are out to bring Christians, or people in general, down.
Make the decision on a person by person basis, not on beliefs.

Thank you. I will be a friend with her for sure, but I will not comment or engage when she comes with links to the JW site or try to invite me to meetings or events. That worked with my Mormon friend, but we grew apart eventually.

This must be a standard approach for JW's in order to rope in people outside of their very immoveable stance on their unusual doctrine.
Since I have been invited for the same reasons as were you, I have developed a very strong aversion to the idea of even seeing this JW again, let alone having to politely siten to what I must consider heresies.

With JWs in particular I would make it very clear (without being rude, but only JUST shy of not being rude... I'd be very blunt) that I ain't gonna be no JW no matter what they say.

If the person is a real friend he'll stay around anyway. If he's only there to make a convert, he'll go away.
