I agree that we must believe in the Father and the Son. Like you, I am Trinitarian. That's a fundamental truth throughout Scripture.

hes pretty confident that pastor Bruce lol.
So simple to understand but yet so miss believed was his message.
Because the person hasn't believed. The person who doubts whether there saved. Is because the person who has understood but has not believed.

I believe again. After re reading all the replies here i feal confident I'm saved, my missing link was the baptism by fire part. And the renewing of my mind.

Now that I know i am saved what can I do with this other than rejoice at this moment.

I feel like a lion ready to spring.

Interesting video, "What must I do to be saved?"
Why interesting?
Because this teacher didn't give the Plan of Salvation, taught by the very Author of Salvation. As a matter of fact...in this message, he makes Jesus look like a false prophet. Sure the guy looks intelligent enough...but the Author of his message is from Billy Graham, not Jesus Christ.
Now I will admit, Billy got many interested in Jesus Christ, but no one was ever saved by following him.
If you would like me to point out these facts...I'm here for discussion.

There would be no point in me even practicing Christianity if I thought I couldn't recieve salvation. I'm just longing to know I am truly saved.

We believe Christianity and Trust Jesus.. Our ""practice" is never perfect because we are faulty human beings.. THAT'S why we totally rely on Him.. And what He did.. Not on what we attempt to do..

I truly believe the reason why Jesus went to cross.

I believe all the teaching of Jesus are Good also.

That's Wonderful.. So now be at peace knowing that you are covered by the Blood of The LORD Jesus..

My studies so far of The lord Jesus teachings all add up to me there is nothing i don't understand on the teachings of Jesus where he spoken, or where teachings Where God the father has spoken. But where teachings of man's understanding has spoken i stumble.

Ahhh,, that's where you have to gain discernment from the Holy Spirit.. To know what comes from the LORD and what comes from wolves dressed in sheep clothing.. Yeah there are a lot of wolves walking around putting people into works salvation bondage religion.. Be wary.. Trust in The LORD's Word and test every word you get from another by His word..

Yes I agree we rely on Jesus. And I also believed wolves are sinners to.
If you are guilty of one sin you are guilty of them all. There is no one who has not sinned, so I'll grab some wolves and remind them.

Well the man used Pauls words as the foundation for his teachings. Many believers get caught up in these teachings because they have put their trust in these men. They make salvation so difficult, when Jesus made it so simple.

For example....I have listened to many sermons from these "Great Men of God" and I have never heard a single one of them teach what Jesus taught, Regarding salvation. For instance, have you ever heard anyone teach (John 14:21-23)?
No...they don't.
Why?
Because it teaches the exact opposite of what they teach.
And poor brother Paul, they claim to teach what he taught, but they only teach that which supports their doctrines. Have you ever heard one of them teach (Romans 2: 5-10)??
No...and why not?
Because Paul himself refutes what they claim he taught.

I have always found it interesting how much he is Quoted by so many in the church, the one he walked away from. The Church got too liberal for him...so he simply left.

I know you are referring to me as one of the others. You seem to lack the confidence to discuss this on your own. I understand, because what you believe is illogical and you being a logical man...can't make heads or tails out of it for that reason. Really.... if something makes no sense, it's called nonsense....except when folks teach a false doctrine. They never pit me against Jesus, but rather the foolish teachers and their teachings.

Tell you what, I'll listen to one of these lessons, and show you where these folks directly teach the opposite of Jesus Christ. Not my words mind you...but I will use where their teachings are directly opposed to the word of Jesus Christ.
Then I'll let you can decide who to follow. But remember....Jesus taught it, I'm not going to be giving my commentary as to what it means. Remember when you read the bible, it's written by teachers...they say what they mean and mean what they say...except for the occasional analogy.

Spurgeon disfellowshipped himself from people he felt weren't walking in the truth. He decided he'd rather stay loyal to God and His word by himself than participate with them in their error.

Jons 3:3 Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Being Born again, means born from above. which means you came from the Father. Your mother upon conception, God placed your soul within your mothers womb. i would think if a Christian was asked, where did your soul come from, they would say, from God. This was Gods law of earth habitation, one must be born from above, birthed through woman’s womb, to have the right to be on earth and have the right to return to God.

We are taught in Genesis that there were some that left their first habitation and came to earth, without coming through woman’s womb, you remember the fallen angels. This interpretation comes directly from Paul's epistles. But my question for this teaching is this....If this is what Paul meant when he said, "Not by Works, but by Grace", why did he say in (Romans 2:5-10).....
"But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”

To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good."

Question....
Paul clearly says, God will judge us according to our deeds.
But what does Paul say....is the reward for those who do good deeds?
I have underscored the answers in Bold Print to make it easier for those of you may have missed it.

Again...the false teacher never teaches these lessons which are clearly written, because they undermine their false doctrines. I didn't need to go any further into this pastors lesson, for it was all built upon the sand...which as you can see, is very easy to blow away.

Anyone can be a Christian and not born again, but not everyone will be born again.
