Church buildings often have open doors to the world. The issue is, much of the world has been integrated by the religious system of Christianity that people can no longer recognize those things as foreign to the Kingdom of God. These are the things that will continue to grow along side the Kingdom and be dealt with by the Lord later, so we shouldn't fret about it.
But, the verse "What God has put together, let no man separate" is a promise, not a warning. To apply this understanding to marriage and divorce: knowing if someone was brought together by the Lord requires wisdom, not just a church building as the setting for the ceremony. Anonymity is a preferred standard of being among the pewsitters.
