I have been tirelessly .. go read any thread on Calvinism.
With little effort I might add....while managing to live my life!!
You cannot see it, this dogma blinds peoples minds.... it really is something to see!!
You do not do honor to God by debasing man. Man is made in the image of God, so to debase man is to debase the image of God, and thereby not pay proper honor to God.

You know for the record....I hate no one on this site, I may come across as angry, or brash or a little mouthy once in a while, but at the end of the day it is because I despise religions that embellish the word of God to peddle error.....if the word supernatural needed to be connected to faith, God would have inspired it.....men constantly "remove and or move" the ancient landmarks that have been set.........always pushing the envelope to skew the word to say something it does not say....to embellish the word with extra words is to do the same thing the snake did in the Garden.....time is short and hell enlarges itself without measure as 10's of thousands of souls pour into it every day while men/false religions tilt the word in favor of their religious creed while rejecting the simplicity found in Christ.
IT IS TRAGIC!

This cruelty and these childish antics must stop. They have no place in civilized society let alone a Christian message board.
The image was marred, sure. But your doctrine goes beyond that and gives man the power to destroy the work of God.

People and God, in some cases, and the Devil, blind men's minds according to Scripture, not a Doctrine that fights against darkness.
See what I mean? Intentionally meant to be insulting. With no meaningful or edifying content.
Why don't you reveal to us your own understanding of systematic theology and your doctrine?

I read Martin Lloyd Jones and others ..ten years later threw out his books out and started from scratch with no indoctrination and presuppositions best thing I ever did.
Amen... Thank you God for setting me free from a doctrine that basically creates a moral monster.
Please show from the Bible, how this Doctrine, destroys the work of God. The Doctrine of Election defends the works of God.
I would cheerfully accept an analog. How about a doctrinal statement? That's easy.
I reject your restrictions, if you can speak in theological terms so can I. The doctrine of election relies on total inability/ total depravity. That doctrine forwards the idea that in the fall man destroyed the image of God completely removing any ability to connect with God even as a response. In that you forward that man has the ability to destroy what God has wrought.
