It is even more dangerous and false to believe that sin causes the loss of salvation.......either JESUS paid it in full or he did not....MY bible states there is NO MORE sacrifice for SIN and that he sanctifies FOREVER..........but hey......I guess many just cannot accept the truth

if we think once saved always saved then this kind of doctrine will lead to many people taking the mark of the beast thinking they will will make it to heaven .And they will lose their salvation taking the mark

I am not putting forth any doctrine! Just seeking spiritually based facts on what God says!

A true counselor makes sure shame is removed and cast down.
Sexual sin carries shame.
Deliverance,washing in the blood,forgiveness brings freedom and joy.
Shame reappears through different doors. Counceling and training show people how to cast off shame. Cast it down. Refuse it.

I say this because i have seen awesome men/women of God deal with it in counsel/ministry and to see them free of shame is a beautiful thing.

Sexual immorality is an important subject.

The key issue is feeding desire or feeding love and care.
Innate within us is always sexual desire, because of our hormones. We came into life because of our
parents desire, and families and marriages are founded on pair bonding to create families.

Years ago some expressed the view to me to emphasise family was wrong, because desire was about
personal fulfilment as well.

The problem is sexuality is always with us, but our love in Christ can rise above, dealing with others
as brothers and sisters in Christ, irrespective of desire.

Some believers think intimacy is only sexual, when actually intimacy is about real love and care for
another. Our culture has focused too much on the physical and not enough on the personal and
commitment, being friends despite attraction and desire. So many relationships go wrong when desire
is the only reason for being together, rather than the beginning of something healthy and beautiful.

It is apparent here on these threads there are many divorced and separated people, carrying much pain
and hurt, and the emotions that go with this, are a mess. Paul encouragement was simple,

3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people.
4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.
Eph 5

1 Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers,
2 older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity.
1 Tim 5

We are a family, in a real sense, with commitment and care, as well as boundaries and the ability to
get involved and also withdraw as appropriate.

Sexual immorality is likened to Spiritual immorality. God hates both. OT refers to Israel playing the whore with the religions of the nations round about them and they received judgment as a result. Judgment including being carried away into captivity.

Those who engage in sexual immorality will be taken captive by their sins and not achieve any level of Spiritual significance. They will not grow in the truth and grace of God.

what does holy mean?

God is Holy and righteous therefore we should dedicate or consecrated ourselves to God for a sacred religious purpose is how I believe holy is defined. That is our sole responsibility to worship Him! To be set apart for God only as we walk our walk of faith!

Look if you can not help plz pass this thread! As some have stated there are many divorced or single ppl here! We are adults, lets act as such! I have a 13 yr old telling me girls want to have multiple sex partners with them! 13! This should SHOCK us awake! They are pressed upon at an early age by social media and tv by these immoral acts and have become desensitized to corruption. My gr8 nephew is questioning his sexual orientation ,he is 15! Please help lead me in a correct answer about these issues! Let's not turn a blind eye.....these are OUR children and family!...... Thank you!

Their rejection of a Creator and instead embrace and teach evolution, has led to this.

Sorry the word "make it "sounded confusing .It basically meant people who will take the mark will lose their salvation .
This bible says in Matthew 10 :33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

Of course I will not take the mark of the beast and I don't have a revelation about when the rapture will happen .Either way i believe God protects me of all sorts of evil and if i have to i will go through tribulation ,maybe even die for Christ

I believe that it would be impossible for those that already have salvation to accept the mark of the beast.

How to counsel someone in confidence and love! Not to drive a wedge between their heart and God!

There is a time for counseling and there is a time for exhortations to repent.

Before anything else, sinners (of whatever stripe) need to know that GOD COMMANDS ALL MEN EVERYWHERE TO REPENT (which includes them). This is not driving a wedge, but doing exactly what John the Baptist, Christ and the apostles did. This is also what Jonah did, and all the prophets before John.

If you fail to convey this message, all your counseling will be of no avail.

AMEN.....the bible make this clear.......only those that have not received the love of the truth shall be deluded.........SAVED men will not receive it and then lose salvation.....that is ridiculous and contrary to the truth!!
