Im speechless, but I think of what Paul said in Corinthians that we are to confort others with the same comfort we have been comforted with. Who can know and understand suffering but the one who has suffered himself. You are to be commended for stepping forward to help others out of deep pain.
I will always remember when my Mom first died how you checked on me and shared sonething the Lord showed you about Heaven. It meant so much. You moved out of your pain to help soneone else in pain.
Lord, I pray for Blain tonight. Let Him see and know how precious He is in your sight; how we do not have a great High Priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities. Let Blain's light shine so bright, that his abusers are convicted and others who are abused will know there is help and deliverance in you. Now, Lord, move on Blain's behalf and provide supernatural healing of his brain and freedom from any verbal or physical abuse anyone would try to bring again. Surround him in a warm blanket of your love and may he always feel the love of his "true Father." In Jesus name I pray!Amen.
 
Sorry you went through all that @Blain, I know how it feels a little bit, my Dad did not treat me good one time in the house he threw me into the wall another time he tried to choke me to death, I will be praying for you to be healed

Well if there is one thing I have learned is that the suffering we experience in this life however unfair it is usually is meant to make us stronger and to help others who have also known suffering in life

one thing I have seen that united people in history was suffering, suffering for whatever reason seems to bring people together

Yes that's true, He did not treat my Mom good at times either, Mom told me you get a wife don't treat her like your dad treated me, I said Mom you don't have to worry about that I'm not like him she said I know, I have 4 sisters so I learned to respect Women

Did your dad ever get better? or did he just remain abusive?

Oh good that is great to hear he got saved I am sure he was too asorry for your loss and for your hard life but there is a reason for it God never allows anything without a good reason for it

I wish I knew what my calling was but good for you on your calling remember that your life experience is going to be a huge asset on your preaching

Pray to God and ask him what he wants you to do and he can heal you to it just takes faith and trust in him that he will do it for you pray and ask him to heal you don't give up on it I been there I had a surgery that did not go good I could not eat solid food for about two years I prayed over and over finally he told me where to go to get prayed for I did but I did not get healed the first time he let me know I did not have strong enough faith so I went back got prayed for again on the floor I said Lord I am not getting up unless you heal me and he did I went out to eat and ate, Yes it will be

I had a very similar experience one time where I was in my room alone and on the floor kneeling before him and not even daring to look up said I am not getting up untiol you answer me and I surrendered to him that day like utterly surrendered I told him he can take all of me all I am but I refused to get up until he answered me and he did it was a flow of the spirit like I never had before

I could feel him his power his beauty and wonder his kingship and it felt like a fire was in me and I felt his authority and felt the authority I had in him

I am shocked to hear that someone else has had this very same experience as I had and I have never told anyone about it before so it is truly a God thing that we both have similar lives and expereinces with God

As I am sure you know already there is a whole other side of God that is full of wonders

Well I had 4 sisters my sister Kim passed away 6 months after my Dad did she was at her sons house she fell in the tub, hit her head and her eye it knocked her eye out it killed her, Then my mom passed away about two years after my Dad did

I’m guessing that you’re at peace with the life you have lived because it led to your sonship in the Lord? Weather I’m right or wrong, you have a very strong testimony. God bless you!

I'm at peace because I have the Lord in my life he is the one that helped me go through everything I went through, My Grandma before she passed away told me to hold onto the Lord and never let him go 100% good advice for Everyone!

A grandmothers words, pointing towards JESUS, her wanting your eyes fixed on the things above, and now her words echo thru you

It was bad the way my Mom died to she had an infection and had a bad fall and had trouble walking after that they treated her for the infection in the hospital they sent her to a nursing home to recover and get to walking again, they just let her go left her in just her under clothes and only one sheet to cover up with, me and my sister got onto them for that it did no good and they let her get to dehydrated they waited until she got way to dehydrated to send her to the hospital the ER at the hospital said it was high as it gets and that it damaged her brain the thing that is crazy is that it is a 4 star nursing home
