So it's wrong of black people to want to be treated fairly and equally, with respect and not disdain, hate and prejudice? Or to not be killed just because of the color of their skin?
No. Why are you being ridiculous orange? Who said that? Do you know what the founders of BLM claim to be? Yep everything he just said. Do you see the fruit BLM the organization is bringing? Do you think it's good? I always thought you to be pretty up to date on these issues but if you think that BLM is about being "treated fair and with equality", then you Are woefully ignorant kitty and I have to suggest doing some research into the ROOTS of this organization, not what your good friend you've know 38 years down the street think they're about. This is serious communist stuff orange.

Dunno. But it sure seems like white people like to think that black people shouldn't have any rights, or that they shouldn't be in the human populace.

Blacks have been oppressed for CENTURIES and treated like nothing more than poop on the ground. All because they are seen as inferior to whites, and other such rubbish.

Black, white, red, yellow or purple.. We are all the same. We all come from one race: the human race. But lately humans are acting more like animals..
Who and where? This is not the America I grew up in, if anything the blacks were treated with kid gloves and allowed MUCH more leeway when it came to getting away with thing behaviorally when I was a kid and as an adult. I remember in school thinking "wow this is awesome, racism is dead". The white messed with blacks, heck in my school even the necks and brothers got along. I promise you when I was out there playing the game, living that "gangsta, gangsta, I got what you need, can't nobody f$%& with me" mentality daily, I got pulled over too. I got arrested too, I got sentence to the fullest extent too, so don't tell me it's a "black" thing, I've lived that lifestyle, and let's not lie, it's overwhelming prevalence in black american culture and might be the cause of all the police activity that plagues them as well. It's the behaviors, the same behaviors attract the police just as fast to the trailer park were I was at. We have got to drop this charade acting like it's just a bunch of innocent angels being unjustly targeted. It makes me sick because I know what goes on in the hood. First hand. I'm also happy to tell you orange, times have changed a bit since you were in high school and helping with the underground railroad.

That is somewhat correct. Jesus was Jewish and that is important. God chose the Jewish race to bring the Gospel to the world. While they did not obey, God is not done with the Jewish people yet. He wasn't black, he was an olive skinned Jew. Like I say, white Jesus ought to be more offensive to Jews than blacks.
Hey Kay: I don't think anyone should be offended by Jesus' color. Again, HE DIED FOR EVERYONE. Unfortunately some appear to enjoy bringing this up just to argue. They miss the WHOLE picture as I mentioned Jesus died for all. (for me) this issue shouldn't even matter. I must wonder if they are true believers or just like to argue the point ???

No worries bro, this name calling or ad hominen is her norm. Don't fall in line with her racist Leftism she hurls insults. That's always the tactics of Leftists. That and I recall her belittling Biblical texts given with the Biblical advice. Frankly I haven't witnessed anything remotely Christian coming from her.
"Don't fall in Line with her racist leftism"

Wow, you just called someone a racist. What does that remind you?
You have to apologize to @Susanna publicly. Don't forget to own it.

I think you’re way out of line here. This is an outrageous way to address her. Showing your true colors, though.

Thanks Pulie. I really appreciate that. But I don’t think he’s capable of acknowledging his own tendency to be name calling people. He’s speaking the TRUTH, you know😁.

Here is a quote from the BLM website

The Black Lives Matter Global Network is as powerful as it is because of our membership, our partners, our supporters, our staff, and you. Our continued commitment to liberation for all Black people means we are continuing the work of our ancestors and fighting for our collective freedom because it is our duty.

This is baloney because they should start with themselves over in Africa. Anyone keeping up with the terrorist organizations, genocide and constant warring tribes and murder of white farmers in over there? If they are continuing the work of their ancestors, it is going to be a bloody (not meant in a swearing way) mess. IMO, they need to be liberated from themselves, Chicago last week end being a case in point.

Following the above quote, this:

Every day, we recommit to healing ourselves and each other, and to co-creating alongside comrades, allies, and family a culture where each person feels seen, heard, and supported.

Africa has been a country at war with itself and continues to be. Again, maybe start there if you love your countrymen so much.

We acknowledge, respect, and celebrate differences and commonalities.

We work vigorously for freedom and justice for Black people and, by extension, all people.

No you do not. Chanelle Helm just told all white people they need to give up their property to black people. This person is the leader of the Black Lives Matter movement. Is she just kidding to make a point? No she is not. She is serious. So while the website tries to pacify everyone worried about the activism and rioting and destruction of private property, the basis for these things is actually the miliant leadership behind the front for a supposed peaceful, fair and loving organization.

Read her list of what white people should do to satisfy her hatred of them. Of course you could probably do all of that and she would still hate you.

That's fine. Call me a woke white person.
" They should start with themselves over in Africa".

I like that, makes me wonder what Native Americans are thinking.

Neil Shenvi has spent a lot of time studying critical theory and the conflicts with a Christian worldview.

Here's some videos that would be worthwhile to watch if you want to get up to speed on this topic which poses serious issues for the professing church.

This video shows the hypocrisy of Black Lives Matter movement. As others noted, they support abortion while claiming that black lives matter. Approximately one thousand black babies are dismembered in the womb each day.

And, Black Lives Matter openly endorses this abomination.

Notice how the mouths of sinners are shut by this apologist, and their hypocrisy is laid to bare. Brave man, by the way. BLM thugs might try to hunt him down.

Here's another good interview video with Neil Shenvi.

Dr. Shenvi has analyzed critical theory very well, and in this video, he examines it under the Christian worldview to identify its fatal flaws.

By the way, I really suggest that you buy and read the book The Christian's Real Identity: What It Means to be in Christ by Jonathan Landry Cruse. This book is Kryptonite to the Black Lives Matter worldview.

Christians should never support Black Lives Matter because it is a racist organization based on critical theory, intersectionality, and cultural Marxism. They are intent upon destroying our society and the Christian church, and I believe they are willing to employ violence and political propaganda to accomplish their goals. This belief system has actually made significant progress in the infiltration of the Christian church, including organizations such as the Gospel Coalition. T4G, Passion Church and Southern Baptist Convention.

Study the Black Lives Matter beliefs here, which clearly states their own teachings:
https://blacklivesmatter.com/what-we-believe/

This is the best single article I have seen on the topic:

This is a great video on the topic:

BLM supports homosexuality, transgenderism, abortion, defunding the police as well as the use of violence to achieve their ideological goals. Governmental officials, corporations and celebrities have been duped into contributing financial support to this group, which might well be used for domestic terrorism. Weak politicians are being pressured to hinder law enforcement officers in their duty to protect the public. Additionally, BLM is a hypocritical organization, because while claiming that black lives matter, they support abortion, which snuffs out the lives of 1000 black children each day.

Racism is wrong and anti-Christian. Every member of the church, regardless of physical or ethnic characteristics, are united with Christ, and share in adoption due to this union. Additionally, they are united to one another through this common union with Christ, and should be valued equally. However, some within the church are making a big mistake by associating themselves with Black Lives Matters, which is a godless secular movement.

Black Lives Matter is a racist organization. They may present themselves as something else, but the reality is that this movement is a humanistic, racist movement that treats individuals as groups, oppressors and oppressed, with status in the group defined by race, sex, sexual identification, and other factors. The main category that they used to determine membership is your race, though, and if you are white, your "whiteness" automatically places you into the oppressor group regardless of your personal behavior or history.

If you are in the oppressor group, you are a racist whether you personally commit acts of racism or not, and deserve to be punished for the sins of your ancestors. If you are in the oppressed group, you are virtuous and deserve preferential treatment due to injustices which may have been perpetrated upon your ancestors.

I recommend taking steps to protect you and your family in the short term, and educating yourself in the problems with this movement. First of all, it is wise to prepare yourself spiritually and not be like the foolish virgins who did not put oil in their lamps. Spend more time in prayer and Bible study and seeking God's intervention in the present crisis. Secondly, I think it is wise to arm yourself legally and pursue proper training in the use of firearms. Don't depend on the police to protect you because they might not be able to. Support your local law enforcement agencies with encouragement as well. Many of them are demoralized right now due to the propaganda leveled against them.

God is still control, but he still expects Christians to use wisdom and to plan ahead, especially spiritually.

I recognize the injustice involved in the death of George Floyd, but we need to be aware that BLM is an anti-Christian group that promotes racism, sexual perversions, police defunding, the death of capitalism and abortion. Reading their statement of beliefs makes this apparent. A Christian must not ally himself with such individuals. He should stand against racism, but he should not stand with Black Lives Matter, as they are a racist organization.

If your churches are promoting this sort of teaching and participating in protesting, you might want to find another biblical church, after discussing the issue with the pastor and church leadership and letting your concerns be known in a civil manner. Recognize that they may try to justify their behavior by claiming that critical race theory is only a methodology that is valuable for analytical purposes. This is a false claim. Secular society cannot inform the biblical Christian. This is the role of Scripture.

Realize that part of the problem is that some Christians are attempting to curry favor with the unconverted through accepting this ideology, and de-emphasizing the Gospel. They are following the tactics of the Emergent Church. Accepting critical theory is only one of those compromises. Minimizing the sinfulness of sexual perversions is another. An example of this is JD Greear's (president of the SBC) claim that the Bible only "whispers about" homosexuality. If unbelievers are attracted to the church in this manner, you end up with a large congregation of mostly unbelievers, because they were drawn by a false Gospel, without true repentance, that is attractive to the unbeliever, and their conversion is not the result of the Holy Spirit.

I highly recommend reading the Book The Christians True Identity : What It Means to be in Christ by Jonathan Landry Cruse. This book will undoubtedly clarify the issues relating to your faith and current events. This is really an attempt by Satan to superimpose a false identity upon mankind. Our identity is in Christ, regardless of race or ethnicity. This tactic might work for unbelievers and weak, compromising believers, but it should not defeat the biblical Christian. Read it!!! The contents of this book is kryptonite to Black Lives Matter and similar cultural Marxists.

I notice that the media is trying to portray criticisms of Black Lives Matter on Facebook and Twitter as "conspiracy theories".

While there are undoubtedly some wild theories in the mix, it doesn't take a genius to look at their website and see what they believe and the potential for danger.

I wonder if saying anything against these movements will be prohibited on these sites eventually.

Thanks, UnitedWithChrist, for posting and providing all this material on the BLM movement. People do need to be educated on this because too many are falling prey to BLM's corrupt trap.
