Is there only one true version of the Bible?

It makes absolute sense. You guys talk about all the revisions made by newer versions, but when we show you that the King James VERSION of the holy bible has went through MANY revisions, you guys readily swept that under the rug.

(Joh 14:22) Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
(Joh 14:23) Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Judas asked the Lord how he will hide himself from world and yet still manifest himself to his people. Jesus' answer was I will manifest myself to those who my words.

In what way are we "keeping his word" by picking and choosing meanings from multiple bibles, concordances and dictionaries?

The whole bible is written in parables, foreshadows and symbols, and unless we have every word of God exactly as he gave it, and believe EVERY WORD as written, we have no chance whatsoever of arriving at the truth.

They‘ve already been exposed on here. Others have posited them. You don’t believe them, you won’t believe me, either.

Lucifer, for one, in Isaiah 14. That wasn’t even in the Hebrew, was used by Jerome in his Vulgate. Lucifer is a Latin word that the KJV translators used to translate “light source”, “light bringer”.

Does the church you attend solely use the KJV?

Is God's word to be the believer's final authority on all matters of faith and practice? Do you have this? As long as people correct what they have, they can never claim that their bible is final authority.

Yes it is. It is found in the KJV, ESV, NASB, NIV, YLT, HCSB, CSB, NLT, &c.

Since 1611, there have been standardized spelling changes in the King James Bible. In the early editions of the KJB, words like "bear," "dark" and "fear" had the letter "e" on end of them. Words like "mooued," "bee" and "mee" were changed into "moved," "be" and "me." These changes made no change in the context or in any doctrine.

There were also changes because of typographical errors. These errors were hardly avoidable because the printing press in the 1600's were set manually, not like the technological printers of the present day. The work of printing books in the 1400's to 1600's was done by a very slow process. Each individual letter of a certain word was to be placed in the printing press by hand, each letter being upside down and backwards, so printing errors were expected. It was an extreme and weary task to complete the hundreds of thousands of letters in the KJB in a specified time limit. If we today, having things such as Microsoft Word and Spell Check (which are still prone to make errors in writing articles and books), then imagine how hard it was back then.

The King James Bible was first printed in Gothic type, but later changed to Roman type. In the Gothic type text, the letter "s" looked like the letter "f", the letter "u" looked like the letter "v" and the letter "j" looked like the letter "i". Again this did not change the context any at all.

Yes, I submit to word of God. You don't submit to His word? You submit to your intellect and ability to determine what God has said through the different versions.

The Lord and His word cannot be separated.

Lucifer is in the 1611 version, it wasn't updated in a revision.


Isaiah 14:12

“How art thou fallen from heauen, O Lucifer, sonne of the morning? how art thou cut downe to the ground, which didst weaken the nations?”
