I already knew the truth about pisteuo and you will be held accountable for trying to “shoe horn” works “into” the definition which alters the gospel.

Good luck with that! Christ saves us through faith based on the merits of his finished work of redemption alone and not based on the merits of our works. (Romans 1:16; 3:24-28; 4:5-6; Ephesians 2:8,9; Philippians 3:9 etc..).

Umm. are you now going to withdraw? Of course, I am in no genius to all topics, I need to refresh my memories that even computer memories sometimes needs polishing.:)

I think you need to research the difference between Grace , unmerited favor done by the" finished" work of Christ on Calvary. And Faith, pisteuo= "a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender." As per the Vines Greek dictionary.

Grace is what became of the Faith of Christ. We respond with Faith of our own, "through Faith"! A personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender. That does take work and effort,just like it always has.

If you want to remain of the mistranslated foundation, you have that choice to do so.

I've been studying and practicing what I've presented to you for over 33 years. You look at pisteuo for 1 day and come to the conclusion I'm wrong?

Ya I'm withdrawing. I thought you really had some experience in translating? Copy and paste just isn't going to fly with me.

I appreciate your calm demeanor though.
