I have had issues over the years looking for a decent tract / pamphlet for outreach that is cheap and comprehensive for people as new believers but also not to ditch them in the dirt with no support after leaving them. I have found nothing except to make a website and put its link on a small tract rather than cover all materials on one leaflet. Though the site is also limited as I use free sites not paid ones etc.

I would like something I can print myself and copy/edit/create a new one for myself but am at a loss as to what is essential and how to maximise space used. I was thinking of one A4 page cut into four folded leafs, making an A7 size of 8 pages. But I simply do not know what to include due to so limited space.

One the Gospel takes up half of the paper so only about half a letter page of text paragraphs is left with a small space for a sticker and my web links on the back etc.

Anyone found anything useful and not general wishy washy "my story" space wasting tract/leaflets? Maybe something visible online to check?

I honestly feel other religions although fake put christians to shame, such as the "Watchtower" JW's, as they seem unified and have universally used tracts worldwide whilst we make millions of vague junk items with barely helpful information because we tend to put everything on one page the size of a playing card or two if we feel like splashing out.

Giving a whole gospel to someone seems to be nearly useless as they need the book of acts to even understand the gospel in my opinion, as well as a bit of the letters of Paul, to know what and why they are to believe in Jesus. I would honestly like a booklet available from a world publisher for all but who would agree to that? Too many denominations and fake churches. A booklet of 24 A6 pages or 6 leafs of A4 as it were should cover everything required to not leave a person clueless as to what to do after belief. How to self study, teach children in family, homeschooling, awareness of evil in the world, fasting and diet and exercise as a christian and safety, false religinions and why, best bibles, free bibles in app stores, places for free study materials, how to control the desires and "ego mind" (noisy thoughts of addiction) overcoming addiction, prayer, christian online groups.

Many of these can be on line with a link or two for each subject leading to courses of video content on channels and websites of long standing reputable as far is can be groups etc. But you get the point. I'm not putting my sites here due to this sites potential rules, but also the traffic for free sites is limited. But it covers some of the main issues here in minimal form. If I had money and help I would have made a proper website with full details and videos and links and orderable booklets and whatever but I am relatively poor so no chance of this.

Any help on some sort of pamplet with the best layout of content found so far would be appreciated. I know I am unlikely to find anything of much use but I thought I would ask to save time on my pamphlet creation for outreach. Thanks.

I would suggest a tract that covers salvation only. Then have a web site that covers the fundamentals and show the link. We've used a few different ones. "Knowing God Personally" is one we find to present the gospel plainly and accurately. We also give out seasonal ones such as "The Empty Tomb". The Empty Tomb is cartoon style, which I like, but quotes the KJV, which I do not. Many English speakers can't understand modern English, let alone 17th century. Ejicashun has a lot to answer for.

We include a business card with every tract. It has our contact details and we encourage anyone with questions to contact us. We do not get a lot of response. It seems that we are sowing much more than reaping.

I've been watching Ray Comfort from Living Waters and how he approaches street witnessing. It is instructive and helpful.

The Holy Spirit of God is need to understand the Word of God. In the meantime it is commendable that you wish to help people understand, and I do understand your dilemma, though don't think I have any solutions to offer. Unbelievers seem for the most part uninterested in Biblical anything, even if God as a subject matter for discussion and pondering is something they are open to. I would think most tracts end up in the garbage any ways, but of course it is the one or two that don't that keep you at it, right? The one or two that might spark some deeply held reserve or need in someone who is desperately looking for answers. Offering moral support through life's challenges and hurdles can also be a worthy endeavour. When you get right down to it, it is amazing how much help is available for people, but the need is always there, also.

John 3 verse 16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

In today's world where being genuine is of utmost importance....

Tracts don't cut it for an entire gospel message....and studies have proven they are a waste of resources even if many Christians like them.

Now, if you created a single sin tract that discussed:

the problems people have after an abortion....
The unheard statistics about LGBTQ lifestyles.
The problems with not being married but living with someone.
The problems stemming from porn Viewing.
Gambling addiction issues
Chemical dependency issues
Prostitution issues.

Or whatever....more of a public service type explanation of why these things that society says are just fine are really problematic for everyone. These are the answers people really need to know but might not want to.

i think you miss the point. The issue is I have nothing to give anyone if they are seeking. They are dumped like fools with a gospel message and no one to ask questions of. They do not live in the same towns and will not end up in "our church" due to distances etc. People also need something more substantial as even if I give them a whole new testament or bible they simply do not know what to do with it. It is not a daily helping book but more of a lifelong book. It is too long for daily help. Trying to get some help from the geneology in the OT is a big ask especially for a noobie. It seems churches are cheap and tight fisted frugal sorts unless megachurches and ask for loads and give little. I'm tired of the lack of resources. Do I have to do everything even though Christianity has been around for nearly 2000 years? Is it really supposed to be this pointless and futile? Where is the "universal unified protestant christian outreach gospel and guide in one"? This seems so ridiculous but I suppose that is why most churches are dead or burnt to nothing or slums because people focused on their jobs and kids first then when they got old, decided to make a little effort out of guilt. Too late? This is so empty, so lacking when promised abundant life, and whatever??? A bit of a rant but what is a person supposed to do as a christian if we are not gifted to be preachers, and not a scrap of help is found? It has been years and still I cannot find anything useful, only "trash". And God is silent on this as of yet, so what now. Wait another decade, give people trash, don't bother. Where are all the christians who were here before covid? Have they all given up too? What a waste of time this is to an end with "no fruit".

There are resources. "Growing in Christ" is one, available from bookshops. Cottonwood Church's Bayless Conley has a book called "The Cross" which is most helpful. It's not expensive either.

I think you need to give a bit more credit to Lord Jesus for being the finisher as well as the author of our faith. I was saved in an unusual circumstance. I was in the military (navy) and traveled a lot. I had a little help to begin with, but there was no church on the ship. Somehow, God led me to various different believers. I "just happened" to meet people from Teen Challenge in Hawaii. An unbelieving shipmate was given a tract in Japan. I was able to track down the church that gave out the tract. I also had a strong desire to read God's word and I soon realised that I should be attending a church. I had over 3 years of this unsettled life. Lord Jesus brought me through until I resigned from the service about 5 years after being saved.

I am well aware of the difficulties. Many believers are disillusioned with "Christianism". We are a small group and we are seeking to start a "church for the unchurched". We intend to go back to the early days as described in Acts and 1 Corinthians 14. I have no idea where to start, but I've met many who've told me that they've quit church, but not Jesus. It's a germ of an idea. Should it take off, one of my priorities will be to have fundamentals teaching. I started a Bible School not long before covid hit. It was a beginning, but circumstances, including covid, prevented us from going further.

There is a great deal available on youtube. Some is rubbish, but there is gold among the dross. I suggest that you do some research yourself. The internet reaches where we physically cannot. I have a youtube channel myself. It's insignificant at present, but I intend to do more. It's https://www.youtube.com/@Peter-y5y9i. Perhaps you could do something similar.

Don Fransisco made a good one. It was a song, not a piece of paper, but...

He still loves you
He's just waiting
For your struggles and
Your strategies to end
He's been beside you
Every long and weary mile
If you let Him lead the way
He'll be your friend

Or if you want something shorter:

God still loves you and wants to help you do life better. When you get tired of killing yourself doing it your way, call this number. (Number for your church or pastor here.)

Oh Jesus had the exact thing....

Tell how much God has done for YOU.

Not an antiseptic book or video. But YOUR story. (You were there....you should know it) You don't need to be powerfully persuasive....tell what YOU know to be absolutely true.

Canned speeches that tickle the ears doesn't cut it. Genuineness does.
You would be amazed at the power of personal testimony has. You are used to the story....others are not.
