I don't know it's always been that way since I was young so we're use to it. I cant remember back past Bush JR in the 90's because I didn't pay much attention to politics but Bush JR. Perry and then now Abbott have just always been pretty much anti government help.
I firmly believe that federal handouts have a potential to impact our economy significantly, and in a negative way. Covid-19 may be the exception. At this point of time there is no need for such stimulus.
I agree the elected officials splitting the Covid money among themselves didn't help their citizens one bit. They should have at least had the decency to return it to the federal government.
I see it as preconditioning or some similar gift being given by God to the extremely poor to not have heat or enough food at the present time. In some manner learning to do without the carnal earthly things seems to be both conditioning us to live through something he knows is coming in our mind and adjusting our bodies to be able to live on less food. Those who seek after the carnal luxuries today will probably not be able to make it over the mountain top in the days coming.
So why are you are against those exposing massive handouts to bad causes?
