During your servicing of air conditions in the Balkans you might have noticed this when people were loud in coffee shops.
If you knew the language, you'd see that they're having a lovley conversation. :LOL:

You think people are bothered by a different point of view? That's hardly it. It's the absurdity of the view that one finds shocking. It leaves one wondering what were the circumstances that led to such an understanding so as to assure such circumstances are never repeated again.

Trump basically shut down all the gravy trains worldwide and internally.
Increased tariffs with all countries having a trade imbalance so the manufacturing can come to USA.
With all the money saved, now he wants to give all citizens a check from all the savings.

I was there for a week or so.

Personally I do not care for a lot of fancy French food. Italian food is better and Greek food has its merits. But I like meat pies, I like the beer and cider they have in England, I like the fresh bread they have in the bakery, I thought the milk there was the best I have ever had, some very good cheese, and I like "honest" food, not stuff drowned in sauces.

I also acquired a taste for Marmite.

Oh @Texasgal the very latest latest, is that Trump pulled all the funding for illegal immigrants such as schooling etc and is going to re-direct all those funds to people like Vets and people with disabilities.

I will admit their fish and chips are great, and I do like Yorkshire Pudding.

In my opinion the people who brag the most about their food have the worst food. I don't let other people tell me what I like and what I don't like.

For example, take China. If you are going to have a 12 course feast then in my opinion it has to be Chinese food. But that is not what you eat every day*.

Go into a 711 and there is nothing worth snacking on, not compared to a meat pie.

Give me a ploughman's lunch over some fancy French restaurant meal that would cost me $100 any day.

*While in Taiwan I went to a restaurant that was supposed to be the favorite restaurant of the President of Taiwan. We walk into the restaurant and you have to walk through the kitchen to get to the stairs, dining room is on the second floor. We see the chef in a pair of shorts, that is it, no shirt. He is smoking a cigarette, petting dog and cooking. The dog he was petting had mange. All the Americans in the group immediately balked at eating there to the dismay of our Chinese hosts. I love Chinese food, but at the same time I warn people against eating it. There is a reason Chinese restaurants are cheaper than other restaurants, people have no idea what the Chinese are willing to do to cut costs.

After trying to round up millions of them for over a month and not finding millions of them like we thought there's no point in all the funding. If their not really here we may as well divert the funding somewhere else. Long live the King.
