Twice I've been banned on Christian Chat. Twice after asking questions.

First time I responded to a person which message I wanted to understand correct. The person wrote something about that if he had attended protesters violent behavior they wouldnt' be alive. I asked the person if I understood it correct, that he would like to kill protesters. Then I was banned.

The second time I asked about if I'm allowed to be on the Christian Chat even though I'm not a believer of God as personal and separated from us. People started writing that I was trolling, and I got banned again.

I would like to know, what the rules are on the chat. Am I not allowed to use the chat without being Christian? The rules of the chat doesn't mention anything about this. Also the rules doesn't say anything about not being allowed to ask specific questions. As I understand the rules, we are not allowed to purposefully offend others. And I don't understand how the two situations that has lead to a ban have been offending others.

People don't have to like me. They can have different reasons for not liking me. But does a personal opinion about me, mean I can't use the chat as long as I'm not purposefully offending others? Nobody has to listen to my opinions, but should a Christian ban a person on an public chat for having a different view of life and asking questions?

This doesn't make any sense for me. This isn't the principles I follow. And I don't understand, how it can be Christian principles.
I don't know why you got banned exactly, from your side of the story kinda seems like there was no discernible reason. There is always a reason, though, for everything.

It's my understanding that this is a Christian Chat site, meaning that it's for people to discuss Christianity, not attempt to refute it or undermine it. I am not suggesting you're doing that, but I guess if you you aren't a believer in Christ and you aren't here with an open heart to receive the Word of God in faith then I cannot help but wonder what motivates you.

There is the entire rest of World Wide Web to say what you want and then there are enclaves like this that cater to a niche group of people. Since this is the Internet and not a town square, it can be easily regulated who is here and who isn't.

I actually look forward to opportunities to outreach to non-Christians and that's the mindset I hold when interacting with them. So I guess I'm just curious if you are interested in being a Christian?

In my understanding. every one is welcome here, whether Christian or not. If they start posting heretical or blasphemous stuff however, that is when they get banned.
I don't see how my questions, that lead to being banned, were either heretical or blasphemous. So, if your understanding is correct - which I think it is - there must be a lack of compliance between what the rules says and what is being followed.

I hope there will come a solution to that problem.

As mentioned in my original message, I don't believe in a personal or separated God. But I do believe in God, it's just a different understanding than Christians have of God.

That also means, I'm trying to move towards peace through God's "help".

The reason why I use the chat is to be inspired. And I don't have to agree with everything people say to be inspired and feel peace.

You are welcome to ask if you would like me to explain it further.

I don't know if the rules are that you must be a Christian to join, but it does say "Christian Chat" so i guess it's for Christians, or people who are not living a christian life but still believe in God or people who want to know more about God or get a Christian perspective.

I hope someone will be able to explain for me, how my approach to life goes against this :)

Have I tried to preach about a heretic view of life by answering a question about if I believe in God, and allowing the person to hear further about my view of life?

Have I tried to remove the persons belief?

The chat rooms can be rather clique-y. If 3 users decide that something someone says is against the views of the site, then they ban them from the chats. The forum mods tend to extend a little more leeway.

Ok. As I'm sure you have understood, I just don't see the connection between my ban and the rules of the site :)

I wish there would be a better communication about the reason for banning.

As you know, whether here or elsewhere. If you don't follow the rules, you'll have consequences. If you don't follow the laws of the land, you'll be arrested, dragged before the judge and a sentence handed down.

You continue to do as you please, you'll be seen as indiscipline.

Indiscipline people will get their reward. Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

The proper thing to do, is find a site where you won't be banned for your opinions/beliefs, and express them there. Even a Christian is advised to do same: Matthew 10:14 if anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet.

Matthew 10:23 When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

No, it's not a different religion. As I see it, Brahman would just be another word for a separated understanding of God.

I distinguish between relative consciousness and intuitive consciousness, and try to find peace in not following an illusion about a self.

I mostly see similarities in my understanding and what I find in the Bible. And because of that I can use the Bible as inspiration.
