So you suspect there are fake accounts that are trying to scam you, yet the only men who would be ‘worthwhile’ are those who fall for the scam? You have described a simp, not a man.

I believe that any decent man would not require me to pay to see his message. He would pay so that I can see HIS message. That's why I think that these "men" who are contacting me are fake profiles and not real. It is Christian Cupid trying to lure me to pay using fake profiles.
Like alot of Christian ladies I believe in old fashion courtesy and manners. Call that being a simp if you like, I call it being a gentleman. I'd prefer a gentleman over an incel any day.

I apologize. I confused two separate issues, you recognize it’s scam because the messages are abnormal from how you expect a man would act. You’re probably right.

The other issue is we don’t live in an old fashioned world. Men who are eager to spend money to gain the attention of women are not respected, they are used and discarded. Or they use and discard women. Just fyi, all modern dating advice educates men from falling into these traps. It is unlikely that a gentleman will blindly throw money at strangers on the internet. So embrace equality and resist the urge to ignore someone because they they don’t pay for you to talk to them.

Duly noted that you do not accept collect calls. =^.^=

Also, howdy and welcome to the forum.

Hey, all.

About two weeks ago, I closed my account on Christian Cupid, having signed up in February. In short, it was a total disaster - people were using false profile pictures, no details on their own pages, and asking me questions they could've learned the answers to from reading my own profile. On top of that, I was getting an abundance of attention from people living in places like Nigeria, Asia, and the UK. Even when I updated my page to kindly say I was not interested in anyone outside of the USA, the same stuff kept happening. Some women asked me for money too, and others wanted a father figure for their kids; it was frustrating beyond reason. So as someone who's been ripped off by that site, allow my own experiences to serve as a warning - try someplace else.
the experience you experienced started right from the very beginning of dating services. back in 2013, i was at a friends house & i asked him to pop some dating services on the computer because i never tried it. so we looked at 3 girls, all very pretty. so i noticed the 3 girls all looked young for the age they posted. i commented on that & my friend said, "karlon, they're lying about their ages" i looked again & anyone could tell that's what they were up to. once, a lady told a guy she was 6' tall. he met her & she was 6' 4". they didn't date. the best advice any Christian can adhere to is to ask Jesus for a date.
