@JohnDB @Lucy-Pevensie The Israeli military has admitted that a Palestinian man with Down's syndrome who was attacked by an army dog in Gaza was left on his own by soldiers, after his family had been ordered to leave.

BBC is reporting that Israel confirmed this story. To JohnDB, clearly Israel has lied a multitude of times and will continue doing so, does this mean you will not believe Israel when they admit that their military did in fact leave the young man's body there to rot after their dogs mauled him to death?

They started the fight and couldn't finish it....in the USA we got a name for that....and it's not a positive name. The ancient Romans had an expression in a similar fashion...
Once again, conceding the Palestinians started everything, would it then be permissible for the IDF to start raping all the Palestinian women simply because "they started it"? Your logic dictates that whoever starts it, nothing is barred from retaliation against them, including their civilians AND mentally disabled. It's absolute rubbish. (I'm not making a claim the IDF is or isn't raping Palestinian women, simply asking a hypothetical question to test your logic.)

I get it. It's easier to block me when I've engaged in good faith discussions with you than to admit you were clearly wrong. You could have googled other sources if you thought this was purely Palestinian testimony.

@JohnDB @Lucy-Pevensie

BBC is reporting that Israel confirmed this story.
BBC is basically a HAMAS news agency.

They've been heavily biased against Israel since 1997. I am part of a group which monitors them daily.
They are not the respected world-class news agency they were years ago. They are little more than political activists now.
Very anti-Christian.

It's BBC so they might be telling you a half truth. They are masters at leaving parts of stories out to give the wrong impression.

I wonder if that Palestinian knows what an NPC is....or what it means.

He certainly is one....one look through his posting history is more than enough to know who and what he is.

Yemen is burning today.

They have lost their largest port and main cities are on fire.

I guess they are next now that the Palestinians lost all their ammo dumps.

Sure, lets just concede the BBC only gets 50% of their stories correct for a moment... This story has been confirmed by Israel in multiple interviews, not JUST with BBC. How many more sources, or which sources are you needing to get the confirmation that this happened so that you no longer have cognitive dissonance?

@Cameron143 I am starting to get to the point where I would welcome mud slinging AFTER condemning the action. I give you credit for at least condemning this event and not saying it's fake news to avoid having to reconcile Israel's sins in this conflict. We all agree Hamas is evil and ought to be eradicated, but we don't all agree that Israel does disgusting things like what is in this report.

I don't know if the story is true or not, but they are Jews and no doubt some still believe in an eye for an eye.
And I wasn't slinging mud. I was merely mentioning a related subject. That home didn't remind me of an open air prison and the young man looked well fed and well dressed. Alot of American aid has been going to that region. I like to know my money is being appropriately spent.

I wouldn't say every single home in Gaza is blown up, but just because his home wasn't doesn't mean hundreds of thousands of others weren't blown up. We can see pictures to confirm the rubble. I'm tired of funding these forever wars myself.

The thing is that when someone isn't sure if something is or isn't true, people tend to not want to investigate if it's true if it's potentially damning to the "side" you're on. When they want to prove something is true that supports their agenda, they will get off their butt and spend all day and night until they can find something to support it. In this case, I doubt @JohnDB and @Lucy-Pevensie will do their due diligence to confirm or debunk all the reports, including the BBC's, that the IDF really did confirm this tragic event. They would rather say "Well, so and so lies, so I don't believe them" and then not care to do as YOU mentioned... balance report and verify if it's true or not. They probably know it's true, but are hiding behind "not knowing because BBC has lied before". That is what I mean by cognitive dissonance.
