You just described the natural man before he has been born of the Spirit. He thinks it is foolishness.
They refused to shut up or go away. They were law breakers. They were willing to accept the curse of the law upon their flesh in order to spread the word that Jesus died to release us from the bondage of the law. Berean study bible, Romans 6:9-11. The BSB is very similar to the NIV. Much more understandable than the KJV 1611 with modern words in paragraph form the way people really talk.
You will never understand the grace of God until you understand the depravity of man. You are trying to make the natural manchange his mind and understand the things of the Spirit before he is born of the Spirit and until he is born of the Spirit he will always think that it is foolishness.
God does not sent people to hell, they send themselves to hell by their actions.
I am in agreement with your statement, although the new law that is written in the heart is much more demanding in that it says even if you look upon a woman with lust on your mind you have already committed adultery.

The point was and still is that all have commited adultery in their hearts. For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. That's why we need Jesus. He's paid the price for us and died for us. So we are no longer the bondage of the laws, sin and death but under the grace of God. Jesus is the Lord and master now, we belong to him. He has been given all authority by the Father through the power of the Holy Spirit over us and the law and the world. We no longer belong to the world or the law but to him who is greater.
To turn our back on grace and return to the law that Jesus overcame is foolish at least. We are no longer under bondage and if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Reading comprehension, take a class please, because you have utterly failed at understanding what I wrote and I was very clear.
I clearly stated under the conviction and persuasion of the Holy Spirit,
And I also stated that the man's will is only capable of rejecting God's truth.

What you have stated is true, but there are other things to consider. Christ died only for those that God gave him, not for all mankind, and he will raise all of the ones that he died for up at the last day (John 6:38). Christ finished the work that his Father sent him to do on the cross which was to pay the price for our sins. No sin that we will ever commit will keep us out of heaven, however, even though we have been born again, we still do carry the baggage of our sinful nature with us until we pass from this life. Paul explains this about himself in Romans 7:18-25. When we commit a sin we can lose our relationship with God (not our eternal destination) until we repent.
And failure to surrender. Ego, pride and stubbornness are stumbling blocks too.
Irregardless, we must carry the message of forgiveness and not keep our lamp under a bushel.
I may be able to understand more what you are stating if you explain how the natural man is compelled by the Holy Spirit to surrender their rejection and unbelief.
Wouldn’t limited atonement mean even though GOD loves righteousness HE chooses to give some more grace than others?
I think that ego, pride and stubbornness probably applies to the ones who are already born again, God chastens me for those every now and then. The natural man simply can not understand the things of the Spirit and thinks that he is doing nothing wrong and will never surrender until he has been born of the Spirit (Eph 2:5).
Why can’t some people just rejoice in God’s grace rather than always “expletive” shutting out the Kingdom of Heaven against others? It’s freakin’ sickening!
He gives the same grace to all of his sheep and no grace to those that are not his sheep. Whom the Lord loveth he chastens (Heb 12:6). If we find that the scriptures say that there are some that he does not chasten, then we must conclude that he does not love them. Psalms 73:5 - They are not in trouble as other men, neither are they PLAGUED (Greek = divinely punished) like other men. God only loves and chastens those that are his.
