The way my daughter explained it was that There was a rich egotistical man that thought of no one but himself. So as a punishment he was turned into a beast. He then had to find someone that loved him for himself. I've never watched it but that is what that story seemed to me...

Hahaha... How ugly do I have to be to have the money. I was an average guy in my youth. Symmetrical looks, not over/under weight and was generally liked by the gals. But when I landed a job that had family benefits and paid very well, I suddenly became marriage bait. Did I get instantly beautiful?

My question: From a Christian perspective: Can a person hang on to great amounts of money while seeing the good that money could do by donating such?

yea thats the story...the prince/beast had to prove he loved Beauty and not just for her looks too. He had to risk his life for her just as she did for him...in the disney movie at any rate. Only then could he be redeemed it wasnt all on beauty's part to save him.

your question doesnt make much sense to me but if you asking can someone be a scrooge well they can but God would surely convict them at some stage to do something with all their money instead of just have it sit there. Maybe Hes just waiting for the right time to release it.
