Get up without grunting. My childhood is ancient history. But I remember an incident, I don't know why I remember. It a isn't very significant event. I was a toddler playing in a sleeping crib in a room just off our dining room that looked straight into the kitchen.
My mother was in the kitchen in a chair with her feet up on the oven door as she usually did. She was peeling an apple. I shouted into the kitchen and ask her if I could have the peelings. She said come and get them. I remember climbing over the side gate of that crib and going after the peelings. I don't remember much from there.
As you get older, is there anything you find you can't do anymore?
