This is one of the oldest jokes I know, yet I still laugh every time I hear it.
A man jumps out of an airplane with a parachute on his back. As he's falling, he realizes his chute has malfunctioned. He pulls every cord but nothing happens. As the earth rapidly approaches, he realizes his options are limited; he takes off the parachute and tries to fix it himself on the way down. The wind is ripping past his face, he's dropping like a rock, and at 5000 feet, another man goes shooting skywards past him. In desperation, the man with the chute looks up and yells, "Hey, do you know anything about parachutes?!"
The guy flying up looks down and yells, "No, do you know anything about gas stoves?!" ......
Q: Can opposite sexes be best friends? (My long-time guy friend & former work associate surprisingly tells me it's next to impossible; but I say yes it is very possible. ) And do you have close friends of the opposite sex?

Yes they can, and yes, I do. I believe that married people shouldn't have such friends if the friend isn't also willing to be friends with the spouse. (Cool!)

Oh boy... I love aroma therapies... hehe! I love wild violets... mimosa tree blossoms... yellow and pink Peace roses.... sagebrush wafting across the desert... and honeysuckle. Also, fresh cut grass... fresh cut lumber... pine trees... new car smell... and homemade yellow cake baking in the oven.
Q. What qualities do you most admire about your parents and/or guardians?

My parents where so strong in their faith. I saw it and felt it growing up. I always loved family prayer time. It’s the only time I ever saw my dad humbled on his knees. My mom would often cry. Happy tears because she knew God and knew God heart her tears. And my grandmas sense of humor. Oh I just love her keen wit !

Discerning the difference between my own understanding (muddled intuition, ignorant opinion, confidence in the flesh), and the Voice of the Holy Spirit. They are polar opposites. Determining God’s will based on feelings or opinions is a dangerous way to live.
