I will seriously reconsider my current trend of thought. Something about 'affordability' is affecting my thought process. Seems to be getting worse, and not better.

I don’t know what to think about the DP. In principle I’m against it, but when I learn about what those on DR have done I’m not so sure anymore. Nevertheless, the chances of killing somebody who is innocent makes me think that the DP should be banned.

I think we have DNA and better testing than we have ever had. God is the one who said if you murder someone, you lose your life. So we should do all we should do to be sure an innocent person is not put to death. Now, since 1973 well over 63 million innocent babies have been murdered. I don't think the two can be compared.

I think in the new year a lot people are gonna change their minds when their tips and overtime are not taxed.
This was a minor concession that should have been made to working class people long ago. Besides that, even if people do bother to claim their tips (many do not) they'll still have to pay state income tax on them. Chump-change handouts aren't a substitute for the reform this country needs.
