Comparing scripture to scripture is good Bible study. In the resurrection we will be as the angels of God in heaven. In the resurrection, we will have spiritual bodies of flesh and bone.

This guy doesn't mention that the LXX has angels instead of sons in Job, which is inexcusable coming from a scholar. It can't be coming from ignorance, so it's got to be from personal bias.
Then he mentions that the 4th person that looked like a son of God in the furnace in Daniel was an angel, but it's obvious that it was indeed the son of God, Christ. This again is inexcusable coming from someone who claims to know the bible
Nor does he mention that a Hebrew who was very familiar with Hebrew culture said in the book of Hebrews that God never called angels his sons.
He also strikes me as having a noticeable bias.
Another bit of evidence against his interpretation is that gods mingling with humans is the primary characteristic of pagan mythology
There are so many strikes against this interpretation I'm baffled that Christians who say they believe God's word take it seriously
Stupid question. Cheap shot. Grow up.Identified as male? Have you gone woke on us?![]()
We can conclude (not ‘concur’) nothing at all.Ok, every angel mentioned in the Bible is male. But let’s compare scripture with scripture. If every angel mentioned is male, then what can we concur from the following?
Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
Yes it is crazy, and no, it isn’t valid. If in the resurrection, we will be as angels, and angels of God in heaven do not marry, than we may be able to concur that the reason angels do not marry in heaven is because they are all male. Therefore, in the resurrection we will all be male. I know it sounds like a crazy Ruckman theory, but it is a valid point.
Don’t be dense. You know (or certainly should) that male pronouns were used collectively in English until our generation.Ephesians 3:15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
You just answered your own question.Different species? I didn’t read that. Show me in the Bible where angels are said to be different species (Playing your game).
Ah, but men with spiritual bodies as in the resurrection can do those things. We will be as the angels of God in heaven.
I have no intention of debating. All I will say is there are several problems with your own statements here. If I had to make a choice of whether to believe you or the guy in the video, you'd lose.
That's referring to spiritual seed, not physical seed
Your quote doesn't settle anything because you are greatly misusing the text. This really should settle the matter, but it doesn't because some simply don't believe what it says and prefer entertaining a pagan mythological idea for whatever reason. Answer to both questions below? Never! It's used here as a self-answering question
For when did God ever say to an angel, "You are my son. I have begotten you today?" And again, "I will be his father, and he will be my son?" Hebrews 1:5
We will have blood?Comparing scripture to scripture is good Bible study. In the resurrection we will be as the angels of God in heaven. In the resurrection, we will have spiritual bodies of flesh and bone.
Did they have blood? Are there any accounts of angels having bled while engaging in battle?Anyhow, I genuinely am curious to hear the responses of others here. Thank you.

In other words, in context, this verse is simply stating that God never told an angel that they were his only begotten son.
In their spiritual form, I would say no (based upon certain scriptures). In their natural form or when they appeared as men? I honestly do not know.Did they have blood? Are there any accounts of angels having bled while engaging in battle?
The author's point makes perfect sense in context.I'm not greatly misusing the text because it says what it says, ie to which of the angels did he ever say "You are my son" and "I will be his father and he will be my son". And the answer is never, whether the only begotten or not, otherwise the author's point would make no sense.
Who are the sons of God in job?
Going by how God consumed the offering that Manoah offered, it opens up the possibility that these angels consumed the food offered to them in a similar way. And in regard to the sodomites lusting after the use of the angels' bodies for their personal jollies, I'm certain that none of them, the sodomites, had the power to even come near any angels' butt crack to investigate whether they even possess an rectum or not before at least getting knocked back in a similar way that Jesus knocked back the centurian who attempted to take hold of Him.In their spiritual form, I would say no (based upon certain scriptures). Nope. They ate (Gen. 18:8, 19:3).Going by how God consumed the offering that Manoah offered, it opens up the possibility that these angels consumed the food offered to them in a similar way.
Whether or not they had the power to do so, that was clearly their desire. So much so that the angels needed to smite them with blindness in order to stop them. And in regard to the sodomites lusting after the use of the angels' bodies for their personal jollies, I'm certain that none of them, the sodomites, had the power to even come near any angels' butt crack to investigate whether they even possess an rectum or not before at least getting knocked back in a similar way that Jesus knocked back the centurian who attempted to take hold of Him.
