You mean it looked like you agreed with Jesus in MT 6:9-10 & LK 17:20b-21.
Of course, but you don't have to agree to it. No worries.
One day you will, when He will explain to you and all the Jews who were looking for a military commander, that He's not interested in mediocre human kingdoms.

You mean when He explains to YOU that He is interested in the KOG making human life better BOTH now AND "later"--as MT 5:13-17, 6:9-10, & LK 17:20b-21 explain no matter how much you kick against those goads.

Another passage (MT 25:31-46) portrays the KOG on earth in the parable about the sheep, who helped provide people with material needs, and the goats, who neglected the "earthly" needs of people. Jesus wants the KOG to help people in the here and now as a way of witnessing for the "later".

Don't worry about your confusion like i said, even when you quote verses that say " My Kingdom is NOT of this world" and then you argue with yourself FOR a kingdom of this world.
The important thing for me is that i won't sit in silence when i drink my coffee with you.

YOUR divorcing the Scriptures is what causes YOUR confusion. The verses I shared showed how to harmonize the Scriptures. I haven't even bothered yet to cite the teachings of Paul urging Christians to be the salt and light or love and truth on earth. I guess you are speaking of spiritual coffee only?

YOU'RE mixing the scriptures which is what causes YOUR confusion because you're on a mission to get everyone on the line like they do in the army.
But NO. Jesus did NOT create His Kingdom here on Earth despite the anger and disappointment of many Jews.

And i mean coffee here and now because later we don't have to worry about silence in Heaven like i said.

Well, despite your obstinate refusal to understand that the KOG is spiritual rather than what the Jews wanted and was created/grew as Jesus gained disciples who served as salt and light = love and truth or a witness of the KOG to the world, our discussion has prompted me to make some amendments to my website using the meaning of Jesus, so thanks for helping with that project. :^)

(y) Anytime. This is why it's important that you don't agree with me, because then what are we going to do? Nothing?
No website amendments, nothing.
It's okay that you don't understand that KOG is spiritual and MAGA is not spiritual.
The important thing is our friendship, and coffee, and being loud and active so the whole coffee shop can hear us.

I cannot think of a any other way to explain that the KOG and earthly entities including family and government co-exist and should not be divorced but rather the KOG should influence them to become better. Perhaps if I share what I posted on the website:

TOJ #34: Desire God’s will to be done. [MT 6:10//LK 11:2c] This is a significant restatement of TOJ #2. “On earth” begins with the prayer’s own life. Jesus exemplified this teaching when He prayed in Gethsemane before His crucifixion {MT 26:39-42//MK 14:36}. God is not our genie; we are His ministers, who cooperate with His Holy Spirit (PHP 2:12-13) in doing His work (EPH 2:10). Thus, there is an implicit condition in “whatever you ask for”, i.e., we must ask in accordance with God’s will (TOJ #51).

Jesus prayed for the Kingdom of God (KOG) or God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven, referring to His spiritual reign in the hearts of believers, as in LK 17:20b-21, “The coming of the KOG is not something that can be observed, nor will people say. Here it is, or there it is, because the KOG is in your midst.” The KOG is manifested in the world as salt and light or as love and truth (cf. TOJ #19). Examples of such love are mentioned in the Parable of the Sheep and Goats (MT 25:31-46, TOJ #35). In the writings of Paul, the KOG is called the body (1CR 12:13, EPH 1:23&5:30) or church of Christ (CL 1:13&18, EPH 2:22, 3:10 & 5:23), which is comprised of local churches (ACTS 9:31, 20:28).

Good morning sergeant (even though it’s 1PM).
I’m glad to see we’re doing another round after we completed a full circle on the previous 10 pages.
This is what it’s all about.

The KOG is in us like you’ve said a few times for which I agree with.
The KOG is then represented by us in the physical form, to be the salt of the earth, as ambassadors of Christ to bring people closer to the KOG which of course is not MAGA. This is the part that you can’t process but it’s okay.

The important thing when we look at the life of Jesus is that He didn’t come here to be a military commander like the Jews wanted but He came here to defeat Death itself.
This is how you know you’re dealing with the real God and not a mediocre human god who would win another military victory that might be forgotten in a few centuries.
No, He did the only thing that only God can do.
Defeat Death itself! No human can do this. This is how you know you’re dealing with the real deal.

This is also why Jesus didn’t said:

“Surely you know I could ask my Father, and he would give me more than twelve armies of angels. But it must happen this way to bring about what the Scriptures say"

He didn’t lower Himself to using weapons basically, which might be your favorite thing to do.
Because why would God use any stupid and dumb human weapons when He could speak the universe out of existence just like He spoke it into existence?

So to recap sergeant, we are now separated from God since The Garden and we find ourselves as Christians yearning for union with God in the real KOG and in the meantime we try to show others about Christ so we can bring them to the KOG too.
This of course doesn’t mean MAGA or any other dumb political party in the planet earth which Jesus wants nothing to do with.
No, this has to do with the real KOG where He is supreme and where we will be in union again with Him but with more appreciation out of free will.

Not sure why you think Jesus would teach us to pray for God's kingdom to come/His will be done on earth and not put feet to that prayer, especially when he indicated that his disciples should be the salt and light of earthly society.

It is true that Christ's method for fulfilling the prayer is preaching and persuasion rather than legislation and coercion. The greatest in the KOG is the greatest servant of all/God.
I am not sure what you mean by "put feet to that prayer"? Surely helping the poor, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and being willing to suffer are putting feet to our prayers! What I don't think Jesus did (nor should we) is try to use political power or pressure to force Christian morality on others.

Good post--you were a little more inspired than usual.

The only part you can't seem to process is that the MAGA movement is dominated and led by Christians (including me :^) who openly proclaim their faith as ambassadors of Christ to bring people closer to the KOG in obedience to the implied command in the Lord's Prayer as well as save the poor from inflation and the children from sexual perversions and preserve religious liberty--things you wouldn't be interested in helping with apparently, but that's okay. :^)

Sergeant I process this part fine I just reject it because me, as a Christian want nothing to do with your maga.
And if you find happiness with this that’s fine too.
Take some detours like the Catholic Church has done and enjoy your ride.
Me?
I’ll be here praying for the REAL KOG and union with God.

Yes, helping the poor is good, but it requires government to not to cause inflation, so this is why such things as participating in the MAGA movement (with fellow Christians who openly proclaim our faith as ambassadors of Christ to bring people closer to the KOG in obedience to the implied command in the Lord's Prayer by working/putting feet to save children from being sexually perverted, college students from Marxist indoctrination and our country from lawfare and the suppression of preserve religious liberty)--is good.

And yes, persuasion rather than coercion is God's method of conversion.

Spoken like a true Albanian Orthodox. Prayer is fine as long as working to bring about the KOG is not rejected, whether individually, as a local church or by participating in MAGA, etc. Do you need me to cite Scripture re this truth? (You come across as being a little lazy :^)

We can round up everyone who has come here seeking a better life, those hoping to start over in a Christian nation, and put them in detention camps. Then ship them all back where they came from. That would be a good start wouldn't it.
I guess not as good as letting it continue as it has the last 4 years until this country sucks as bad as those they fled and they stop coming on there own? Is that what you want? You don't think deporting illegal aliens is okay? What do you suggest or offer other than smug armchair criticisms with a touch of TDS for flavor? What ideas do you have to offer that will benefit ALL Americans Christian brother?

Seargeant first of all you come across as a typical programmed conservative in USA , I told you this before, so there is no need for you to cite anymore scripture for which your firewall in your brain doesn’t let you to process.
You’re trained to process the Bible as a crossword puzzle to fit your beliefs so treat it as a crossword puzzle.

Also KOG is never rejected.
It’s simply not to be confused with anything earthly like MAGA in year 2024.

The need was to educate you about how many Christians comprise MAGA--and Turning Point. Are you more familiar with the latter by any chance? It is conducting a rally being broadcast on RAV television as we this weekend if you have a chance to watch some of the speeches.

How you doing today army?

I got a new Political/Ethical dilemma for you. Old people!

I will start with my own father. My father is a chess player and he’s 85 years old right now.
But 10 years ago he was driving on his own, to go to chess tournaments weekly. I knew that he’s not a good driver and God has protected him, and many people on the road have tried to avoid his driving, but that day 10 years ago my mother told me to go with him because she told me he’s not the same behind the wheel.

So I did. He didn’t have to go very far, about 2-3 miles when I noticed that he almost hit the sidewalk. So I told him “stop and let me drive”. I took the wheel and I convinced him to never drive again. So I take him to chess tournaments now or call an uber when I’m busy.

So the question is: How old should we let old people drive? Or maybe not just the age, but a thorough examination of their skills? Because obviously the registry of motor vehicles in Massachusetts didn’t see a problem with my father’s driving when they renewed his license, but I did.
And i knew that not only he'd be a danger to himself but he could cause an accident which could injure a child ... or worse.

What do you think about this? Considering that the public transportation is poor in USA compared to Europe.
This discussion came up because one of my co-workers today went to the funeral of his cousin who was killed by an old driver who was driving a truck.
You're not asking me, and I'm sorry for your friends loss. But here's the thing. If they are willing to let people smoke weed and drive, I don't see what the difference is. Many of these older people have no other way to get their food and get to the doctor. And public transportation, well just watch TV and see how safe that is.

Those are good points. My dad lived in a small town without much traffic, so I think that is another consideration, because being able to leave a lonely house and drive to Walmart or to the local cafes a couple of times a week meant a lot to his happiness.

Bro, it's very simple. Earthly governments at any time in history have nothing to do with KOG.
Albanian government, German government, American government ... etc ... have nothing to do with KOG.

Also i'm not familiar with Turning Point but if it has something to do with Christian Nationalism, i'd rather watch paint dry.
As i mentioned many pages ago, i support Trump but not on Biblical basis. I know that this statement makes your world crumble but it's gonna be okay bro. Have another coffee and snack with me and all will be okay.

I like Trump for who he is, because if he talked a lot of Christian stuff i wouldn't like him very much.
As i mentioned before, if you attempt to have some sort of religious government here in USA, it won't be much different from those Muslim countries in the middle east and none of them anywhere at any time have anything to do with the Kingdom of God.
