Any mj true fans? (please no judgement of mj or insults towards him he is resting for goodness sake )
i love michael so much and was wondering if i can share that with anyone on here who feels the same ???

I'm a fan of his. My fave songs of his are Heal The World, We Are The World, Earth Song and You Are Not Alone.. I wish he'd done more songs like that, instead of Thriller, Beat It and Billie Jean.. :)

I like Micheal Jackson. He is possibly the most influential musician ever.

I actually JUST got into him this past year. I really like it. He was an interesting and strange person. I wish I could have had the chance to see him live. His stage shows were amazing!

awee thats cool and me too i am really in love with him as a person and as a man breaks my heart my angel left

Dirty Diana is one of the coolest, rockin-est songs ever. MJ was and is one of the best.

Yes, I love most of Michael Jackson's music. Naturally the songs where he's singing to girls are a bit much for me, but otherwise, I enjoy his creativity. He was a staple at discos in my primary school years. I even used to be able to do a half-decent moonwalk. But not anymore. I'm too self-conscious.

I'm a huge MJ Fan!!!

Such a wonderful talent gone from this world too soon...

If I'm not mistaken, the Jackson Family is/was Jehovah's witnesses...But I dont' think I ever heard Michael profess one belief or another.

Nevertheless, he was phenomenal. I loved all of his music!

I loved Michael! He was awesome. I especially liked this song that would come on before "Free Willy" on my VHS tape. My brother and I would sing and dance to it.

I was a fan when I was 10, then the 80s ended, and we all know what happened.

My mom joked that my first words were "Michael Jackson" because of how much I loved him when I was little. Even today, I still listen to his music constantly.

who is michael jackson?

I have an honest question: I was wondering how the younger generation even gets into music that happened quite a bit before their time?

After all, Thriller dropped in 1982, which was quite some time before many of the posters here were even born.

I guess I'm just asking as someone who never got into the music of the previous generations, but I do realize people are all different. I'm just curious as to what got the younger members here listening to MJ in the first place?

I was never really into his music (I was more into Janet), but I admired MJ as a person because I think he handled the pressure he was under very gracefully, all things considered. I can't imagine what it must have been like living in a fishbowl that the entire world was watching, and the headlines made fun of him no matter what he did. I always felt sorry for him, because no amount of money could buy back his childhood, which he was always mourning the loss of.

When he died, I felt horrible (and still do) for his children. I can't imagine how those poor kids must feel--people can say what they will about MJ but I think he made an earnest attempt to be a good father, and he was obviously his kids' entire world. Now they probably feel as if they can't trust anyone because people will try to use them for the rest of their lives.

I do hope MJ was a believer. Maybe someday we'll all get to meet him.

This isn't just limited to MJ, but for me, I remember watching the Thriller vid on mtv with my dad and I loved it. My favorite music has always been 70s/80s because that's what I grew up listening to with my parents.

Well Rock On!!! :)

I didn't start listening to the radio until about 1984, but to me, 80's music was (and still is) the bomb!

My favorite MJ song is probably "Smooth Criminal", followed by "Black and White".
