We are free indeed. Yes demonic opession CAN happen, but Christ overcame and will continue to overcome. What he has done is finished work, we are free.
Now we will have trials, but he has control over these, and to what extent we go through them. Think Job.
He never takes his eyes off of us, or lays his hand away. God is always near. He is absolutely admirable.
I trust God. I had been involved in the deliverance ministry, it was horrid. The Biblical evidence was very much non existent, and the scripture which was used was uh...misrepresented at best.
In the deliverance ministry I felt as if I was broken. But now that I know the truth, I am not only literally free, but I also feel free. It is a beautiful thing.
We look for reasons to why we are still struggling with sin, and I feel as this experience causes some to latch onto doctrine that can explain why they are so very broken, but this doctrine is not from Christ, I don't believe. At least not all of it.
God has freed us. He is enough. We will still struggle, part of that is our own fallen nature and disobedience. But God is with us even through our failures, working it out to shape us and those around us.
Repentance is obviously necessary, though. But even in hardships and momentary enslavment to our own flesh inspired wills, the spirit is strong and working. This is a message of hope and redemption!
What is hopeless to us is exactly what God can use to form hope in the future, whether that be here on earth or an aknowladment of how good heaven will be in comparison to this horrid world.
These are my opininssorry for the rambling. But I agree with you, Christ is my savior, he takes my thoughts. Demons do not concern me, for they do not have power over me.

"It's unfortunate that" the so-called churches do not have deliverance ministries. They are not teaching the body of Christ how to wage successful spiritual warfare. My ppl are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Spiritual warfare is Biblical, just not...well, truthfully supported when talked about in most Charasmatic circles. Think all the extra biblical books that arent faithful to interpreting scripture in context. Anything Bill Johnson ive found to be mostly incorrect, same with Bethel.
As for content creators, David Diga Hernandez was taught by Benny hinder and believes many of the same things, both I see rampant error in. Unfortunately Mike Signireli along with the other "Demon Hunters", have not funny supported claims but rather use their expiriences to interpret the Bible. I belive it should be different. Bible>expirience.
I do not believe these people are intentionally doing evil, but are rather just misled. Im not sure though.
I'd be interested to know what you consider spiritual warfare, if you care to share an example or two.

In my opinion, spiritual warfare is the attempt of Satan to temp us into sin and or hold us in bondage/deception on this earth. From what I'm seeing, prayer and resistance are the defenses God has asked of us. I know demonic possession does happen, as the bible says. Though I don't believe it happens often, and I believe it can NOT happen to Christians. I know the bible references specific spirits, very vaguely at that, but I don't think we should be building doctrine off of it as we weren't instructed on spirits by the only and original apostles.
If we use the prince of the power of air's media as the criteria for determining what is evil, then we are being deceived even before we begin.
