I’ve had my current job since February, yet cannot shake off my lack of confidence and anxiety that I’m no good at it and others have no faith in my ability to do it.

Please pray that I’ll succeed and be a valued member of my team.

I’m praying for God’s strength and favor upon your job, Matt. May He bless the work of your hands and give you wisdom as you trust in Him.

When you advised me to do that, I felt the knot of anxiety in my stomach loosen. Prayer helps so much. Thank you

Starting a new job can be very stressful in trying to fit in and gaining confidence in your ability to do a good job. I have been where you are at many times. It is never easy but if you persevere and do your best things generally work out. After awhile you will be one of the guys. I will pray that you will become a valued member of your team and eventually a star player.
