I’m relatively new to faith, having been on a lifelong circular journey, only to come home again. I went to church for the first time recently and since then have been filled with a heightened sense of anxiety. It’s a palpable feeling and it’s making me snappy and easily irritated. I’m containing it as best I can but my body and mind are in chaos. Is this normal? I have prayed for clarity and calm. I’m reading lots and looking at myself and the things I do and have done which I know I have to change. It’s just this feeling of anxiety which I didn’t expect. It’s very troubling and I’m not sure what’s going on. Any help or advice? Thank you.

I cannot advise you except to say in this life thee are many troubles and trials. I myself have anxiety at times and it's unclear why. I try to not focus on it but read the Bible out loud and get a lot of rest. Reach out to a few trusted people also. When I am not reading the Bible as in holding one in my hands I like to listen to scripture also.

What helps me a lot in those moments is slowly breathing in and out, and quietly repeating a short verse or prayer until I feel my chest loosen up a bit.

Audio Bible playing while doing stuff round the home is a blessing for me and keeps me grounded in His love, our best is still ahead of us in Christ! Keeping my head down and doing the work of the kingdom will bring His assurance and blessing.

18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit

God warns his people against getting stoned. LSD, magic mushrooms and other hallucinogens are not the answer. They are all addictive, including marijuana. They even have been the source of introduction to demons. They are attracted to the use of hallucinogens. You've probably heard of the Clockwork Elves. Know why they appear to groups when stoned? They are demons. Do you seriously want to mess with those?

There are safe natural nutritional support available that won't mess up the endocrine system and brain chemistry. Much of the time a person is experiencing blood sugar irregularities and low vitamin B complex. It's not wise to correct nutritional problems even with prescription drugs. They mask symptoms without getting to the root of the problem. The same is true with many natural drugs. The ones in your link are not herbs for health. 99% use is used as recreational drugs to feel artificially euphoric/ drunk.
LSD is a harmful chemical introduced by the C👁️A through Timothy Leary. It's killed a lot of kids.
