Does anyone think there are animals in Heaven? Jesus comes back on a white horse so I think there is....
Biblically there isn't enough information to give a definitive answer.Does anyone think there are animals in Heaven? Jesus comes back on a white horse so I think there is....
If you study Eschatology carefully, you'll find that Jesus descends to the mount of Olives before anything else. These white horses are mounted afterward, then the armies of heaven and Jesus comes to the valley of Jehoshaphat for Armageddon.
In addition to that. Animals expire, it says so in psalm 104. They are not body soul and spirit like we are, otherwise they would be made in the image of God too. Only humans are made in God's image.
Yes, there will be animals in heaven, just not the ones from this earth.
Gordon Clark (taught philosophy at Butler University in Indianapolis) said: "of Genesis 2:7. As God breathed into Adam’s nostrils the breath or spirit of life, so too God sent forth his spirit into the animals."Does anyone think there are animals in Heaven? No we don't, we continue on to heaven or hell. Animals's spirit's expire, read psalm 104.WE expire also, does that mean we don't have souls and spirits? All of creation was made by God, and it worships Him.![]()
No i don't believe so. The soul is the mind, will an emotions (including our ability to reason beyond the natural instincts of self preservation). The N.T. says that animals are unreasoning beings, making it clear that they don't have souls. If they did, then they would be triune like us and therefore in the image of God. But only Humans were created in the image of God, not animals, or angels or anything else. Humans are unique in the triune design of God.you cite Psalm 104?? haven't you read it? verse after verse tells us that God takes care of all the needs of animals, that they look to Him, that they know Him, that they have life because God's breath is in them ((just like you!)) -- that they die when His Spirit which is in them returns to Him -- and all this is to the praise of the Almighty.
- animals clearly have bodies
- animals have souls.
Genesis 1-2 uses exactly the same word 'nephesh chayah' = 'living soul' - to describe all creatures as it does man
- Genesis 1:20, 1:21, 1:24, 1:30, 2:7, 9:10, 9:15-16
- man 'became a living soul' when God breathed into him -- exactly the same term describes all animals, however unfortunate it is that translators long ago decided to call man a 'soul' and everything else a 'creature'
- animals also have exactly the same breath of life by which man became a soul
- Genesis 6:17, 7:15, 7:22, Ecclesiastes 3:19
- animals have spirits
- Ecclesiastes 3:19-21, Ecclesiastes 12:7, Psalm 104:29-30
'animals expire' you say -- what, men do not?
same breath, same life. same Creator -- the difference? animals do not sin, but man does. animals know who God is, but man does not. animals look to Him, but man does not regard Him. who is the one that is truly 'soulless' ? ?
The ox knows its owner and the donkey its master’s crib; Israel does not know, My people do not consider. (Isaiah 1:3)
No i don't believe so. The soul is the mind, will an emotions
The N.T. says that animals are unreasoning beings
Where does the Bible say this?animals have will
animals have mind
animals have emotion
Again, where does the Bible say this?God says animals are more reasonable than men
You have had a pet before right? Have you ever noticed how they have different personalities and quirks? How they can be really happy sad or angry? If you had a cat did you ever have trouble keeping it off the keyboard?Where does the Bible say this?
Again, where does the Bible say this?
Peter says that false teachers are "like unreasoning animals, born as creatures of instinct to be captured and killed, reviling where they have no knowledge, will in the destruction of those creatures also be destroyed" (2 Peter 2:12)
Jude agree with this: "But these men revile the things which they do not understand; and the things which they know by instinct, like unreasoning animals, by these things they are destroyed" (Jude 10)

I'm going to spend time in other threads until you substantiate your belief with Scripture. I've already given you 3 scriptures and the lexical data to prove my point. You have had a pet before right? Have you ever noticed how they have different personalities and quirks? How they can be really happy sad or angry? If you had a cat did you ever have trouble keeping it off the keyboard?
Something that has no soul could not do any of this it would just go through the motions like a machine

He is saying that animals literally cannot reason...and by analogy, false teachers are acting like animals when they continue in their gross heresiesin these verses you put, the Bible is saying this about people
