The problem becomes when if Allah is telling Muhammad to go to the people of the book (Bible) and confirm his revelations then this is declaring at the time he considered the Bible to be inspired.

Modern day technology tells is our Bibles are still accurate and nothing has been lost or corrupted.

I do not think , it has to do with what you mind or do not mind but what the truth is. The truth is that Muslims worship the sameness God of Abraham which we worship. The understanding of this God differs even in Christendom. I always refer people to Acts 17:16 -23 where Paul was preaching to the pagans of Athens and told them that the unknown God which they worship is the same God he was preaching to them. It was the manner in which they serve him that is wrong. He was addressing their concept of this God and their manner of worship. I believe, it is the same thing we should be addressing both within our Christianity and the outside world.

When you get to Acts 10, you read about the story of Cornelius, the Italian centurion whom God accepted prior to him becoming a Christian and then directed him to Peter to have a perfect understanding of the true Way. Are you going to say that the God that sent the angel to him, as a pagan, before he converted to Christianity is not the Christian God?

But Paul did not leave them to their ignorance. He presented the Son and the calling for reconciliation to the Living God through the resurrection of the dead in Christ. Some scoffed at him, some wanted to hear more, and some believed on the spot and followed Paul.

In short: Paul did not equate the unknown god to the Living God. He proclaimed the God who can be known and the One God who, through Christ, men receive their life and being. In Paul’s message there was no more room for an unknown god, only the Living God, and certainly no more room for polytheism.

I was surprised cos this was coming from a Christian, but it made me think what really separates that two.

I looked at a dvd on comparing Allah and Christ and the key thing is the Christian God IS Jesus and is a triune God.. where Allah is not triune... and Jesus is only a prophet (altho somehow still born of a virgin!)
