God declares the end from the beginning. James was talking to them and he was also talking to us today. We see this in matthew chapter 24 when Jesus was answering two questions at the same time. When would the Temple in Jerusalem be destroyed and when would the end of this age be that we are living in now. '“Tell us,” they said, “when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?" (Matthewe 24:3) The first thing Jesus did was to warn them about deception.

What about this? When elders pray over the sick, are they always healed? “shall save the sick.” Are sins forgiven through the prayers of others?

This is the time people in the past have looked forward to and people in the future will look back on when: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever." (Rev 11:15) The devil knows his time is short and he is putting up a fight but he was defeated at Calvary.
Nope, chapter 24 is about the tribulation and the Lord’s return as King. In the tribulation, one must endure to the end to be physically saved.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Yes, the latter rain points to the return of Christ. Elijah will return and make it not rain for 3 1/2 years, then it will rain and Jesus will return.
there are gifts that not everyone has and there are healings that don’t always come even from the gifted, you might ask why well God knows best.

James says no ifs, but shall be saved. During the tribulation the gifts of healing will return, as well as the other sign gifts proving to the Jews the message of the Lord’s return.

as far as Moses yea that is a everyday thing no tribulation there, everyone goes through seasons.
The pure word is found in the original Hebrew Language. This goes back to before God confused the Language at the Tower of Babel. I believe that God does honor the KJV when He ways He is watching over His word. All translations have their problems and the KJV is no exception. That is why we need to go back and study the origional language. Esp the Torah that we received from Moses.
There is not much to go on for a tribulation period. Neil Degrasse Tyson does talk about a 7 year period of time though that begins in the 2,000 year anniversary of the Church. Will actually Pentacost is 50 days after Passover. This is about all I have to go by.
