The Pharisee's, back in the day, called out sinners too.
So did the Lord Jesus and His Apostles.
And it is quite clear we are forgiven of our sin.
If you think all future sins are automatically forgiven, is this why you live in sin and refer to yourself as a sinner?
Claiming when one sins they do not reap corruption is mocking God (see Gal 6:7,8). The Lord did warn us there would be mockers in the end times. Apparently some of these mockers are here mocking God.
If one does not forsake and confess their sin, they are still on the hook for those sins.
Proverbs 28:13
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Obeying and acting on Proverbs 28:13 and 1 John 1:9 is sowing to the Spirit reaping life.
Those full of pride and ignorance of what God's Word teaches who refuse to forsake and confess their sin are sadly containing in corruption walking after the flesh being spiritually dead and separated from the Lord by their own choosing.
We'd be better off without alcohol. Period. Does the following sound like a good time?
•83% of all fire deaths are alcohol related
•68% of all drowning is alcohol related
•80% of all suicides are alcohol related
•40% of all industrial accidents are alcohol related
•86% of all murders are alcohol related
•65% of all child abuse cases are alcohol related
The leading cause of mental retardation is drinking alcohol during pregnancy.
Americans alone spend over $50,000,000,000.00 (50 billion) each year on alcohol.
Well you know the carnal minded among us will continue advocating for alcohol consumption because these people are not very bright and obviously don't take God's Word very seriously at all.
What does the bible say about alcohol?
No such thing as moderation?
Yes do please show where the Lord instructs His people to drink the booze.
In what chapter and verse do we see Jesus and/or His Apostles giving us that call to action?
Where do we see "and thou shalt drinketh thy booze and be a booze drinker for Jesus"?
Still waiting on you answer the question.
Still waiting for you to acknowledge what God's Word says and stop living in sin!
1 Corinthians 15:34
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
1 John 2:1
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.
2 Peter 2:14,15
Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
Romans 6:1,2
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Romans 11:22
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou
continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Romans 8:13,14
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
All of the stats you listed are also 100% related to poor decisions.
Yes, claiming to be a Christian and advocating for drinking the booze is most definitely a very poor decision
Why do you subject others to regulations??
Why are you advocating for drinking the booze?
Are you like this other fellow who proudly tells everyone he is a sinner living in sin?
You fellas should repent of your sinful behavior and get right with the Lord Jesus!
-"
No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your
stomach’s sake and your
frequent infirmities."
I Timothy 5:23 NKJV
Not directions for the entire Body of Christ and notice the word "little" as this is a recommendation for medicinal purposes most likely due to there not being clean water readily available meaning a couple of spoon fulls not a few glasses of wine like today when so called "christians" are getting buzzed which is drunkenness.
These advocates for drinking the booze ain't fooling the Lord. They like to get their buzz on and will continue to fight with anyone trying to help them understand this is sinful behavior they should depart from.
It's always very telling who the drunks are in threads like this as they are the one continually arguing for the right to drink the booze.
