I actually like the idea of the doctors being AI, because I might not have to worry about the evil doctors trying to kill me anymore.
But, I think it's the beginning of the beast AI, or what I am thinking, will be many beasts.

They will setup the AI as the judge and lawer, and also the jury.

I totally understand your concern and desire a safer replacement for evil Drs.
I'm with you there.
Just consider that there was a tycoon in the early part of the last century who was able to influence/ bribe the powers at that time and implement his system of petroleum based chemicals as the only option people were allowed to utilize. There used to be numerous colleges, clinics and hospitals that trained students in other modalities. Those were eliminated for the stuff that used to be alcohol, petroleum and some was opium. That was the so called cure for everything. Carpetbaggers sold it, the traveling drug pushers from town to town. They had a terrible reputation.
However, that system has had over a century to get completely implanted.
It's like a bloated tick in the ear of a dog, only infinitely worse.

Here's what controls MDs in as a well organized, yet harmful system. This lady used to be in the system, so she talks from the perspective of a whistle blower. It's technically term is "Standard of Care."

Standard of Care<

Properly Rx Drugs Kill Millions<

The AI systems make it quicker and easier to kill patients IMHO.
Benefits that it's much quicker to find the standard of care protocols. Drs and hospital investors will like it as it will shorten existing man hours, therefore increase profits. They will thought it was a modern miracle system that will save lives.
What it will actually do is make it easier and quicker to do what they've always done. It's not going to find brand new cures for everything under the sun as is being promoted as.
It will take away any existing malpractice liability. Insurance companies should love it as they sent all the claims. Those are some of the biggest companies, wealthiest in the world. They also kill millions of people.

I know that would be true. The AI programming needs to be regulated by the government! NO TAMPERING!

AI only knows what Dr's tell them and I guess AI learns from there. Will AI learn from its mistakes? Whose up for having the first brain tumor removed by a robot? 🤔
I imagine if it's a situation in which the human surgeons admit they cannot perform it for whatever reasons (and the alternative is substantially certain death), yet the AI indicates it can be accomplished with reasonable certainty via robotic surgery, they'll be lots of takers.

Do you like Google search results?
I've already seen lots of mistakes and biases with AI.

Yes, I agree with your present assessment of AI via Google, but it is in its infancy, and it's increasing its knowledge exponentially every year. And we all know that humans also make mistakes and have biases. The medical settlements and court dockets today attest to that fact. I'm not a big proponent of AI for different reasons, nor do I understand it entirely yet, but I'm just trying to be as fair as I know how. God bless you.

I don't think ai is going to take over as much as people think actually. It's very expensive, breaks down, and is a major liability. It also violates hippa in this situation as its giving away your medical to a machine with access to the internet. Technically someone is filling in the information on the computer.... that job might be away. Doctor no.

Also did you hear of the ai therapists telling people to kill themselves? Can you imagine? Yes liability is the main issue.

So far I'm honestly not that impressed with ai. I have seen some they make for the military, where all technology starts. China had robots attacking the people..... but it's China so go figure.

My biggest concerns are scams by ai..... which I see all the time. I use ai daily so I'm always surprised people don't know ai videos, pictures, etc. But now they are stealing voices from real people. So imagine a grandparent getting a call from someone who sounds like their grandkid asking for money to get out of jail.

Still...beneath the surface there's a human. Ai is not real, it's coded. In my opinion they're not going to take over the world. They break down and currently have no way to reproduce. Lol they could in theory create another robot I guess. Idk it's very out there with logic about it. I don't see it happening like that. We'll just see them helping people more.

Hospitals,and what's next?

Amazon has over a million robots active in their facilities. And they're quiet replacing people more and more with robots.
