No- my point was I get to do what *I* want when I want. If I want to go somewhere myself I can and don’t need anyone’s permission. I’ve been saying I have more freedoms to do what *I* want to do being single. I can come/go as I please without consulting anyone else.

haha Paul Theroux...his marriage didnt last long (Im being a cynic, but when I read his travel books Im like...here you are swanning around the world writing about it yet you have a wife and children at home. WHY arent they coming with you? )

Do you think they are happy staying put waiting for you to return while you are off having all these adventures?

I know someone single who is constantly cycling cycling cycling around the world.
Im not a great fan of doing that all the time so I can imagine it would be great for me to marry anyone like that. He's happier single. If he married he would either have to give that up or his wife would have to cycle with him and any children on his back or a tricycle or something.

Yeah it IS pretty nice.

From what I've observed though, when you find that special somebody... You want-to changes.

I will know I am in love with somebody when my want-to includes checking with her before I make plans. From what I have seen when friends of mine meet and pair up, it seems to have something to do with loving a person enough to be willing to make plans as a pair instead of alone.

Of course I could be wrong. Never been there myself.
