Your reflection really hits deep truths about choice and grace. Hebrews 10:10 reminds us that Jesus’ sacrifice was once for all, giving each of us the freedom to choose life in Him. Every day under grace is a chance to renew that choice, and as you said, even if we stumble, God patiently teaches us personally (Philippians 1:6, 1 John 2:27).

It’s sobering that some follow their own desires or human influence instead of God, and as you pointed out, that path leads to death—Philippians 3 warns about clinging to self rather than surrendering fully to Christ. Yet, the beauty is in God’s love for those who persevere, growing in understanding and love like 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 describes. True faith transforms motives from selfish gain to love and obedience for God’s glory.

Thankfulness is key here. Recognizing that God gives new life freely in the risen Son (John 1:29, John 19:30) lets us live differently—not for immediate rewards, but for eternal purpose. Those who misuse grace limit themselves; those who surrender fully experience it fully. Giving up self, as Philippians 3 teaches, is hard but liberating—letting God lead instead of self.

Ultimately, it’s about daily choices: following flesh or following Christ, selfish gain or divine love. Grace invites us to choose rightly, knowing God equips us each step of the way

Thank you Father and Son who won once for us all as are now by you forigven through son once for us all. Making anyone new from you in trust to you only. as is learned from all that choose you in experiences in trying to do it and end up seeing they need your lead, not the self or anyone else anymore 1 John 2:27
Eph 1:1-13 pointing out verses 6,7,13
Accepted, forgiven by God, then once believe, are sealed by God for us each to see and be in love and mercy also to all, no longer a few as I used to do, now no longer even as Paul who was Saul saw and stopped only loving those he thought were right in his sight
God loves us all y'all, otherwise Son would have not gone to the cross and die willingly ever. Which Was, is for our reconciliation 2 Cor 5:17-22. then the risen life to get given to anyone in beleif from Father who knows the truth in sincerity or not. then will reveal it or not yet, knowing each persons motive, thank you lord for taking that pressure off of me and all your kids. I do not need to know, I trust God all in all and so can move forward, putting all past behind me now thankfully to God
