I don't know about favorite, but it does have this in it about God's favor.

Matthew: KJV

{1:26} And in the sixth month the angel
Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named
Nazareth, {1:27} To a virgin espoused to a man whose
name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s
name [was] Mary. {1:28} And the angel came in unto her,
and said, Hail, [thou that art] highly favoured, the Lord [is]
with thee: blessed [art] thou among women. {1:29} And
when she saw [him,] she was troubled at his saying, and
cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
{1:30} And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou
hast found favour with God. {1:31} And, behold, thou shalt
conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call
his name JESUS.

The bible also talks about having God's favor, of getting married. Ahem, it also talks about being cursed with marriage.

No I'm not bothered in the least. And I'm not bothered by anything in the Word of God. You see, we are created beings with pea brains. God is so far above us that it is easy to know that he knows best.

I love this answer! So so true. We are just vapors.......and rec'd mercy!

  • What is your favorite book of the Bible? Why? (Every Book but I used to have certain favorites)

  • Is there anything in the Bible that bothers you? (Nope, only that I want to understand better)
  • What study resources are your go-to resources when you come to something in the Bible? (The Bible mainly and the Holy Spirit is my guide and teacher who resides in me, but I like Bible-Hub, MHC (commentary) and some other resources)
  • Do you feel adequately equipped to know how to study the Bible? (Yes because God equips every believer with the Holy Spirit as our helpers and teacher as well as intercessor and comforter)

i'll answer your 2nd question. yes, the same thing that millions of Christians don't like which is sometimes God chooses not to heal someone even though some people ask for healing for decades.
I'm sure I'm not the only person on this forum who lives with pain every day . I have done so for about 28 years , nerve joint muscle and digestive . Every day without fail . I've also had stage 4 cancer . Pain is just our flesh and the flesh profits nothing , it degenerates and is subject to many outside factors . Some we can change such as lifestyle etc but other factors like our environment and the poisons in it and our genetic makeup , we can't change . Physical death happens to us all , some go quick some go slow . I've seen both . It's our spirits / souls whatever u want to call them, they r the things that matter . Our physical bodies r just shells . They can give us grief but with God's help and support we can get through the physical , it's just the flesh . It's just the flesh . I've heard those words many times in my head when I've been having a particularly bad day and I've been feeling a bit sorry for myself . It's just the flesh . The / our flesh , is not who we r . We r living spirits in Christ .

true, accepting life's situations that are uncomfortable with a forward Christian attitude is must! Ecclesiastes is all about that. a Christ like attitude does heal also. we weren't meant to get along with negativity, depression, stress, a defeatist attitude, anger, vengeance, etc., that is what gets people sick too.

Yes definitely , I remember a line from a song out of one of my favourite musicals . I don't like musicals much but I love Fiddler on the Roof and Jesus Christ superstar . In Fiddler ,Topol sings the line : God would like us to b joyful even when our hearts lie panting on the floor , how much more should we b joyful when theres really something to b joyful for ? TO LIFE ! 😁 .
