I am curious of what females prefer regarding beard, so I decided to make a poll to get some statistics.
Here is one for the beard appreciation thread.
Gave myself a haircut this evening.

I love you CarrieAll beards are deserving of appreciation by the masses! And bearded men are especially deserving of beard appreciation by their girlfriend/finance/spouse no matter the length, color, shape! Beards ftw!
When I was young, I was into Grizzly Adams. He had a beard and he lived with critters. The dream life!
Now, for me personally, this is the fiery length. The perfect beard...
Woah! That emoji has bigger heart eyes than apple emoji heart eyes.I love you Sean ♡
And your beard![]()
er, well my dad and brothers shave, so I guess I'm used to clean shaven, so beards are a bit foreign to me. But they look good on certain kinds of men (Vikings?) so, nothing rules them out. As for future husbands, if they are able to care for their own beards, I'm ok, because Lord knows I am not doing it for them.
My hubby's back hairs go up my nose when I spoon him !Hi! An interesting poll, I have had curiosity about beard popularity too. Even though I'm a girl, beards can be part of a guy's character or visual charm.
Being a Christian though, I do want to share some casual Christian perspectives.
God loves a good beard, He made them. God also made men and women to enjoy various levels of attraction toward one another, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and God likes it when we demonstrate love to our spouses which can be in the form of how we present ourselves (a beard or shave can be a delightful gift for some girls). God is also pleased when we take care of our hygiene as it goes along with taking care of our bodies, which could include men taking care of their facial hair.
Women can be picky though....
Some women like beards as they love the masculinity.
Some like the feel of interacting with their man's facial hair too.
There's a pretty good amount of women who like the appearance of a well groomed man, whether it be a clean shave or any length that is kept tidy, and doesn't look unruly.
Some women favor a clean shave as it can often have men look more youthful or reveal a handsome face.
Some women don't like men with facial hair as it can be annoying to kiss or tickle (depending on it's texture).
Many women don't have a preference and it's other characteristics that they are more attracted to, regardless of facial hair. (such as personality, laughter, physique, hairstyles, etc.)
As a single girl, I personally find myself more attracted to a clean shave, probably because I grew up around traditional men and grandparents, and back in my school days my crushes didn't have facial hair. I would be inclined to say my personal preferences have been influenced by my surroundings. Currently, I'm unique in that I like guys who have a clean shave with hairstyles that might have been popular in the early 2000s era. Mustaches are a bit different though, with or without influences, they tend to be a visual turn-off.
However, I have a sister who is neutral about the attractiveness of facial hair, she's simply in love with her husband and it's wonderful. (but she has made a few annoyed comments about his hairs going up her nose, lol).
I wonder what results a poll on this topic will have, at least in this small community.![]()

That's even MORE reason why I shouldn't vote.

I actually added an "I am a man and just want to vote"-option to the poll.Must... not... vote... poll... not... for... guys...
I actually added a "I am a man and just want to vote"-option to the poll.
Too bad I removed it before I submitted the poll.

The even funnier thing is that when this thread was first posted, it flashed across my screen and my little bird brain read it as, "A question for females WITHOUT beards."
I was thinking, "Well ok, I qualify for THIS round, but what I'm REALLY curious about is the hopefully posted follow-up thread, "A question for women WITH beards."![]()
