violakat brought up a great point. Car crash ratings are very important.

2012 Honda CR-V Safety and Crash Tests - MSN Autos
Click what year you wan't and it will show you the rating.

The CRV back to 2002 is one of the safest cars on the road. That frontal offset collision surprised me because for 1 normally cars blow apart with that type of collision. and 2 the wheel never went under into the passenger area.

5 Star test rating. :) Anything beyond 2002 tho, really research it IMO. :)

I love my Chevy Impala. It's a four door. It drives nice and it's good on gas. I don't know much about cars. I think the impala is well rated. Added bonus cops drive them, so I look like I'm undercover. lol

If you put spotlights by the mirrors and bumper push bars on the front it will REALLY look like a cop car and no one will ever cut you off on the freeway! :D

Thanks for the tips Zero! That's a big Impala, mine is not that boat like, it's a 2011. I did get pulled over for speeding in it, that cop obviously knew I wasn't undercover.

Personally, I wouldn't buy any car made in America, or made in a foreign country.
Better safe than sorry.

Since you have only one eye (Have to get the avatar in it), does this mean you ride a unicycle, since you don't like buying cars made anywhere?

I thought about buying a white crown vic, actually. They would hide my reckless and illegal activity pretty well...

Japanese cars are generally very well made. Avoid some American makes, all South African, Korean and Russian makes.

Avoid anything the Russians make... Their space program is proof of that. At least according to the Big Bang Theory.

Violokat,
seriously...
have you ever met a man with one large eyeball who wasn't sensitive talking about it?

Do you name your cars, DuchessAimee? I can't remember if that's been discussed in this thread.

I have Felicity the Ford Focus (alliteration!). :P

My friend Missa asked me the same question. I told her the Germans already named the car for me. It's name is 2005 VW Jetta: Gun Metal Gray. :p

Although my friend Josh says I should name the car Gunner after the color. But to answer your question, no, I don't name my cars.
