I would like the Unsure Icon to be part of the reaction icons. Sometimes I'm undecided about what I think of a post because I need clarification. So think the "unsure" icon would be nice to add:

Likely the icons are part of the original forum software.
But seems to me if you're unsure you'd be better off asking for clarification than using an emoji to state you're unsure.

I do post when I really want something clarified. But there were plenty of situations while reading this forum where I felt posting was unnecessary or I didn't know what should be clarified to ask (perhaps when the topic at hand is new to me).

In such cases, a reaction icon for unsure would be enough to indicate "I don't know if I agree with that or not" and would invite the OP to further explain if they so wished.

Yes, unfortunately replying (while taking a bit more effort and clogging the thread) with "mostly agree" but I'm unsure on what you meant "here" is a substitute. You can take a users post and clip it together with your replies in between but it is quite a bit of effort.

Or you could private message and get the additional clarification in order to post something more targeted on the thread itself.

For an example...

I do post when I really want something clarified. But there were plenty of situations while reading this forum where I felt posting was unnecessary or I didn't know what should be clarified to ask (perhaps when the topic at hand is new to me).
Mhmm this makes sense...

In such cases, a reaction icon for unsure would be enough to indicate "I don't know if I agree with that or not" and would invite the OP to further explain if they so wished.
So also this does too and while I think that (if possible) a community vote on a new emoji every now and again would be good "too" many options "can" be overwhelming to some people. Sometimes someone said one funny thing in a serious post and it was a laugh out loud moment but reacting "funny" would, uh, probably be misinterpreted.

You could simply quote the part you are unsure about and then use the unsure emoji as your response .:D

Example:

Perhaps more than one would really get the message across .:giggle::unsure:
