Of course, prying much of anything with a knife is generally not a good idea.... but especially not with ceramic.
A couple of my newer folders have "premium" steels in them... one is CPM154, and the other is S30V .... and both of those steels are more brittle than say, AUS 8 or any of the 400 series stainless steels.... and WAY more brittle than the carbon steels.
so many knives, so little time.... lol

My brothers and I joke about not being properly clothed if we don't have a knife 
. I wear it All. The. Time. I'm saving for a Buck, which I really like. Currently I'm carrying a brandless hunk of junk that I picked up in a grab bag at a rummage sale; I'm pretty sure it's Great Value or something 
. I'm carrying that one because my Winchester is missing. Winchester is not my favourite knife brand, but they are cheaply nice and I love the sizing and shape and feel of many of them.

I carry a buck knife my Grandpa got me for my birthday when I turned 9. I'm not dressed without it. And I carry a multi tool....because.

Are you satisfied with the Buck? I've heard a lot of good things about them, and really like the one my brother has.
My pops swore by them. I've got no complaints and that thing has been with me through a lot of abuse in almost 8 years lol. I really need to replace it just so I don't misplace one that has sentimental value but I think I'd just replace it with another buck. I have one that was my grandpas too and its still in great shape and it has to be 35-40 years old.
I carry a jack knife on my key chain along with a tiny flashlight. The knife has a 1" blade that I use frequently opening boxes or cutting something. I find both the tiny knife and light to be very handy and usually saves me a trip to get a "real" knife or flashlight. The last time I went on a backpacking trip (seven days) in the Sierra Nevada Mountains I carried the 1" bladed knife as my only blade. It worked just fine and weighed very little. I was striving to travel as light as I possibly could, and realized I only use a blade for opening packages of food or possibly cutting an 1/8" nylon cord. This knife could easily do these tasks. I was a happy and light camper.
I got a Gerber multitool..... broke the jaw on the pliers in about two months.
I got a leatherman multitool..... broke both screwdrivers in it in 3 years.
Since then I carry an X-acto break-away knife everywhere I go, even to church..... lost a couple, but never broke one.....

Hmm, I don't remember the model. I know which store carries it so I didn't even bother to check! Oops
I'm not sure if this is the exact one, but this is about what it looks like. 
I received a nice letter and coupon from Charles Buck witnessing of Christ.
I believe them to be a Christ centered business, sadly they have gone overseas with some of their products

Yes, they used to put in a little "flier" in their knife boxes, witnessing Jesus. I don't know if they still do.
It looks like they have gone overseas with about half of their line. You simply have to look for the American flag on the box, and it will say "Made in USA" if it's not one of the Chinese ones.
Even their Chinese knives are not bad, but it seems the USA ones are still better. They have gotten pretty good at heat treating their 420HC (high carbon) steel, so most of them will hold an edge pretty well.

That looks a lot like the "Bantam" model. Does that sound correct?

No, it's not the Bantam because I remember really not liking the way it felt. I also think the blade was a bit longer on the one I decided on than on the Bantam. Unless there are style differences within the model, I guess.
