Sad mews from Tiny Kittens. Stanley, the kitten with juvenile diabetes and exocrine pancreatic insuffiency, was rushed to the vet ICU yesterday in critical condition. His blood glucose levels spiked dangerously high and despite every effort to save him, he died peacefully this morning, surrounded by his best buddy Chester, Shelly and his newly adoptive family..

I just barely found out that he died, my heart is broken and I am bawling, but he is at peace now.


As usual, please DO NOT put a sad smiley on this post. Please leave a heart to show your support for Stanley's new family, all the staff at TK who loved him and tried so hard to help him. He was loved by thousands of the viewers of TK's online cam and we are completely shattered.

You're free from pain now, Stanley. Run free and say hello to Tequila, Rusty, Sookie and Buffy.. Your life mattered to thousands of us..

Yes and no. At least for the last couple months of his life, he knew love, compassion, safety and happiness. Stanley needed 2 injections daily plus alot of other nasty stuff, and I suspect he would've been a frequent vet ICU visitor, had he lived.

Although he deserved better, God saw fit to call him home. He's in the best place of all now, playing with all the other cats and kittens that TK has lost in past years. :)

On a happier note, yesterday someone put 5 kittens into a box, and put them next to a dumpster IN THE RAIN. :mad: :mad:

Luckily they were found right away and brought to TK, where they will be adopted out to good families. :) Shelly's snugglers plan to name them after flowers in honor of Stanley, who was affectionately called "Stan-lily" because of a cone he had to wear on his head, which was shaped like a lily. :)

So the new kittens found in a box in the rain, next to a dumpster have names now. Snapdragon, Snowdrop, Azalea, Dahlia, and Clary Sage.. :)

what happened to the little box on the bottom page telling you whos on for a chat first it was there then/now its gone? :unsure:
