My brother uses a heat pump too for A/C. Seems strange though, using a device with the word 'heat' in it to cool things down.Ahhh, can’t stand humid weather. I’d need a A/C for that. We call that here, a heat pump.

Maybe it pumps in some reversed version of heat and that heat pushes out the former heat thereby creating another form of heat which is felt as cold but the reversed heat pump is just too long so they made it heat pump, short. Hhahahahahaha
