It’s the weekend here, early days of September. How fast has the year gone? Seems like the years are going by quite fast. However, I’m sure we can agree that even if the days go by fast, the Love & Mercy of the Father remains as strong as ever. 6F8859FC-0CD8-49C5-B922-54204E1BB2AB.jpeg

You know, I’ve heard that whenever you turn 28, from that point on, the years are flying like a mad Water Moccasin trying to getcha out of HIS creek lol.

I’m 34, and yes, the years has flown ever since 28😔😄.

I just feel the years seem to go by quicker than normal, not sure if it’s an age thing (Im 33) lol but we’re heading into September already!

OK sooo.. I know this is kind of a weird question but I need a serious answer.

Maybe I better give a little backstory first. 5 years ago, in my old apartment, I had a WICKED f-l-e-a infestation. I had a big laundry bag that held a lot of plastic grocery bags hanging on the back of my bedroom door. The BR is where the majority of the f-l-e-a-s were. I set off bug bombs 3 or 4 separate times, and the bug guy even came out and sprayed twice.

Fast forward to now. I still have that bag full of bags. It's been in the closet of my new apartment for 5 years, getting moved around occasionally. BUT, a few days ago, I took all the grocery bags out of it, and threw that bag away.

My question is, can/could fleas have hidden in there and survived for 5 years? I'm pretty sure they would've gotten out long before I emptied the bag. I know they like darkness and need moisture.

I'm kind of wondering if THAT is what bit me yesterday. I don't have a cat, and I didn't get bit until after I did that with the bag, but I also had my windows open too so it COULD have been a biting midge fly.. They're virtually invisible and can easily come through a screen or the cracks around it..

I know but like I said, they need dark places, moisture and food. The bag has been open at the top for 5 years. I'd think they'd have gotten out long ago. And until yesterday, I haven't been getting bit up. And I've been laying on the bed all summer with bare legs and feet.
