Accept the fact you have already died with Jesus on that Cross and experience dying to the right to yourself, as God leads you, and become fully dependent on God thru Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit - living in Righteousness by faith. But that is not what I recommend it is what the Bible recommends - Hence Jesus.

Annointed - this is about a relationship with the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. I would recommend simply telling your Father this question and letting Him begin to transform you as He wills. Prayer and silence and stillness and centering before God is my suggestion - but you already know this don't you? :)...

Then - whatever God makes clear for you to do - do it immediately, and anything He does not make clear spiritually as you seek His face - don't do it.

God's Word is to transform and not simply inform you as well - for it is alive and active and cuts like a double edged sword - between spirit and flesh..

when we meditate, do we just bow our head in silence, or wait to be inspired, or wait for God to initiate?
 
may I remember that there is no such thing as "one ultimate thread"
the kind that's packed with encouraging inspirational truth as condensed as possible, as in the thread is of highest possible value-density

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. - (Matthew 6:6).

I have already answered many of these questions about intuitive recognition of the Holy Spirit etc .. have you done them yet? I can PM you more if need be later....

Whatever it is, don't let it worry you. God heard what they said and if it was something mean, He will deal with it. He knows how much its affecting you too. Be like Paul... when the snake latched onto his arm he just shook it off (like Taylor Swift lol)...

Acts 28:5 5But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects.
