As christians, we shouldn't be carried away by the doing of miracles (cast out devils...) at the point of neglecting our personal relationship with God, our salvation. For the casting out of devil ... is not necessarily proof of righteousness and does not guarantee eternal life.

Exactly what the not by works thread is about, because we are DOING works doesn't mean or doesn't totally mean we would be saved. Hence works has nothing to do with our salvation unlike what some people we are not about to talk about said.
